Minulat ko na ang mga mata ko

"Si mommy, Jude?"

He looked at me and then played with my hair

"They're finding her.. Don't worry"

"Okay"

We were in the middle of eating when someone called Jude

I felt him glance at me before he answered the call

"Hello?"

I looked at his face and my heartbeat doubled when I saw him change his expression

"Okay."

He stood up and he took his phone

"Saan ka pupunta?" I asked after I took a sip of my water

But he didn't answered. He just stared at me and that made my feelings worse.

"Jude! Anong nangyayari?!"

He looked away from me, took a deep breath before he answered

"They.. They found a body near the place where Tita's house is founded"

"Sasama ako" I said while I immediately stood up

"Princess. Princess, stay"

"Jude nanay ko yun! At isa pa hindi ako aso kaya pwede ba?"

"Princess, calm down.. Hindi pa tayo sure kung si Tita nga ba yun" he said while holding my hand but I ignored it as I chose to make my way to Jude's car

While we're driving.. I must admit na kinakabahan ako.. I don't even know why.

Hindi ako mapakali.. I think I'm just being negative.. Pero hindi ko napansin.. Naluluha na pala ako..

I'm just a simple girl living a simple life with my family... But that was before..

I lost my contact with my dad, my mom left and there's a big possibility that she's dead.. For now.. Si Jude nalang ang hindi pa nawawala sakin.

I unconsciously held Jude's arm.

"Hm?" He asked without looking at me.

"Will you stay?" I noticed that he stiffen by the moment I said those words ".. I... I mean.. Forget-"

"I will.. Whatever happen.. I will" he answered

It was my turn to stiffen when we reached the area.

"We're here" he said as I look out the window

We stepped out of the house and they give way for us to see the dead body. I ran when I saw the anklet attached in the dead body's feet.

"M-mom!" I said while holding her in my arms

"M-mom! No! No! You can't do this.." I said while tapping her cheeks "mom you can't leave me!" I yelled and then Jude dragged me closer to him and held me tight

"Jude" i sobbed "Jude, No! No! This couldn't be happening! I.. I can't Jude" i said while I was crying hard

"Everything will be okay.. I'm here.. I got you"

He placed my head on his shoulder before kissing my forehead.

That's what happened before I blacked out.

"D-dad.."

"Shh. Baby.. I'm gonna go there to get you.. My flight is booked next week. Wait for daddy, okay?"

"Dad please.. Please move faster"

"Okay, baby"

"Oh and dad.. Please take care"

"Of course.. For you, My Princess"

"Bye, Dad"

"Bye, Love you"

"Love you too" I answered before he hung up the phone.

Oh dear Lord.. Please guide my dad.. Please guide me too.. I don't know what to do.. Ikaw na po ang bahala sa akin.. I don't know kung ano ang lesson na'to for me.. But I trust you, God.

I prayed as I closed my eyes.

Nandito ako ngayon sa puninarya. They're already fixing my Mom's body..

"Halika na? Ayusin na natin yung mga gamit no Tita" sabi ni Jude before nya ako alalayan papasok ng kotse nya

"Jude.. I still can't accept it. Masama ba ako for not accepting that she is now peaceful? That she is now not in pain?"

He held me in his arms "Princess, You don't to rush things.. Especially things like accepting this kind of stuff.. Kakaalam lang natin na wala na si Tita kanina. Normal lang yan." He said while still comforting me

As we enter the house we we're greeted by the deafing silence inside it. It looks like that there is no life inside it.. No life at all.

We proceeded to my moms room and he helped me fix my mom's things.

I opened her closet. I took all her clothes put out so that I can fold it and put it in a box.

As I was folding some of my mom's clpthes I came over to her pink lacey dress..

I remembered na ako ang pumili nito kasama si Daddy as a surprise for their anniversary. I remembered my mom's expression.. I remembered her almost in tears because of happiness.

And I can't help but just cry.

"H-hey?" Jude said in a caring voice but I just cried.

"Hey? Anong nangyari? Are you okay?" I just looked at him while tears are running down my face.

He held me again "stop crying, Princess. Shh"

"I wish.. I wish I can" I said bago ko siniksik yung ulo ko sa balikat nya "Jude ang sakit sakit kasi eh.. Hindi ko mapigilan yung sakit.. Hindi ko mapigilan yung luha."

He did not say anything instead he just patted my back to calm me down.

"Kelan mo balak dalhin dito si Tita?"

"I don't know.." I said before blinking twice. "Actually, I don't know what to do"

He sighed "I'm here.. Don't worry. I'll help you"

And I just nodded to let him know my answer.

He called their house to let them know what happened at para na din makapag paalam sya. He said he'll be staying for the night.

"Hey" I went to look at the person who touched my hand and to my surprise I took a step back when I saw who the person is.

"Jam?" But she did not answer.. She just run and hugged my thighs

"Sorry."

"Ha?" I kneeled to look at Jam better

"Sorry because Tita turned in to sleeping beauty.."

"Ah.. It's okay, Jam. Thankyou"

Kung si Mommy ang sleeping beauty.. Sino nga ba ang Prince that would save her?

Is it Dad, his husband or is it Sean, The one that he chose over my dad?

I snappee back in to reality when some of my mom's friend said condolence to me.

"Ok ka lang ba, Ija?" Tita Juliet, Jude's mom, said.

"Ah. Opo tita. Salamat po for helping me na mag ayos ng burol ni Mommy"

"Ikaw pa ba? Parang anak ka na namin" Tito John, Jude's Daddy said.
