Murder Inside the Courtroom!

At Tokyo District Court

Ran invited Shinichi and Conan to join her to witness a court where her mother, Kisaki Eri will be a witness for it. Since both brothers don't have anything to do so they come as well which luckily happen to be after school. Surprisingly, it was actually Eri who recommend Ran to bring Shinichi and Conan along with her, so she can show both of them how courtroom works since they only know how the police solve the case. Now both Ran and Eri are in the toilet while the brothers wait for them. Shinichi is looking at his phone seriously

"Hmm... what should be good huh" thought Shinichi serious
"What's wrong?" asked Conan as he jumps to Shinichi's back to look at his phone
"Ah... It's almost Ran's Karate championship, maybe I could give her a present since she should win again"
"I see... Hmmm, flower maybe?"
"Maybe..."

"She would like underwear. Deep red ones" said someone

Both brothers look surprised by the voice, which to be Kisaki Eri

"Kisaki-sensei/Eri-obaasan!" said both brothers surprised
"In foreign countries, it's normal to give your lover underwear for a present. It's a present for Ran, right? I will go with you" said Eri smirking
"She's not my lover and this is Japan... Underwear is a bit..." said Shinichi as he blush
"Then anything is fine, what do you want then?"
"Hmmm wouldn't food would be better?"
"That would be the worst... You don't express any passion at all with that"

Conan jump back to the ground as he overheard their conversation, can't help to laugh by it

"Hearing their conversation is like Eri-obaasan accept Shinichi-niichan as her daughter's lover" thought Conan as he looked away so that Shinichi didn't hear his thoughts

"Then Kisaki-sensei, what did Occhan give you as present?" asked Shinichi
"Here" said Eri as she let out something small to the high schooler

It was a little tube which to be a lipstick

"Ehh Occhan have good taste in presents" said Shinichi surprised
"Of course not! I pick it myself and ask him to buy it for me" said Eri as she put it back in her pocket
"Have to guess..."
"Hahahaha" laugh Conan

Moments later, Ran came back and they go to the courtroom. As they come in, Shinichi realize a certain man is sitting on the audience seats which to be Mouri Kogoro

"Eh dad?" asked Ran surprised
"Occhan? What are you doing here?" asked Shinichi
"This woman ask me to come here... Since it's for my precious Reika-chan's trial, I just had to come" said Kogoro
"Your precious Reika-chan huh..." said Eri in low voice
"You aren't Reika-chan's lawyer today?"
"If you call out that name this time, I will kill you"

Eri point her finger on Kogoro's head like a gun which make both Shinichi and Conan just sigh by the situation while Ran got worried since it is her parents. Moments later, the court began as the judge is present along with important people on the room

"Nee the defendant of this trial is..." thought Conan to Shinichi
"Ahh, the hostess at the Mint Rose snack bar, Saito Reika-san. She was arrested as a suspect of a theft of 10 million yen from the safe at her work, but she denies the charges and claims that she has an alibi at the time of the theft occurred" thought Shinichi as he explained to Conan
"I see... and the reason Kisaki-sensei is here because?"
"It says that she's the witness of proving her alibi"
"Why's that?"
"From what I heard, Reika-san witness Kisaki-sensei being at some other place during the time of the crime which is essential for her to prove that Kisaki-sensei is really there or not to prove her alibi"
"I see..."

Conan's look at the faces and then look at Shinichi's phone that he borrows, which to be that the prosecutor of the case was actually one of the prosecutor's ace in court. As the court begin, Eri was called as a witness of defense
