Xius stood on the balcony, leaning against the railing. This one thing kept her from falling into a huge abyss, which would kill her. Hazzy hung around to make sure she did what she came here for, and for encouragement. Xius knew that the railing was old, and just a bit of work with her knife and it would come off. She decided to try to strengthen it just a bit before she heard a cry of terror.
She looked behind her, There was Hazzy, the red festive slimepup backing up. A Panther had started running crazily in its direction. It was malnourished, just wanting something quick to consume to survive. She quickly jumped into action, parrying the attack via an axe and stabbing it with her knife.
"Come on," She told Hazzy, Hazzy jumped onto her back as she made her way to the garden. Setting up a few matches with some campfire wood close. She then walked to the elevators and exited. She would go look for survivors of the fire later.
