I finally finished my masterpiece
I found a nice
nice little pencil
and swirled it 'round

until nothing was left
just an empty socket
and no one could see
what I could
Just the empty space
Of something that once was
But now
now I know

the dark is always there
and the eyes are liars
that is why everyone sees
a world that isn't here
that is why I am the only one
that can really see
