I woke up the next morning alone in bed. I got up and walked to my in suite bathroom to take a long shower. Climbing out, I wrapped a towel around my body, and walked over to my walk in closet. I pulled on a pair of grease stained jeans, and one of my old t-shirts that said on the front ‘we ride together, we die together’. I put on a pair of combat boots, and threw my hair up into a messy ponytail.

I walked out to the planning room in the garage and checked what supplies I would need to arm the crew. Looking around I noticed I only had four handguns that were compatible with my bullets. I let out a sign and decided to go see what Mercy and the boys were doing. I walked over to the back door of the house, since they hadn’t been in the safe house, and opened the door. Walking into the living room I was shocked by what I saw.

“I said you could help, NOT that you could turn my home into a halfway house.” I said to Dom when he walked over to me.

“I thought some reinforcements could help out a bit, so I brought the rest of the family.”

“Last I knew the family consisted of nine people tops. This is a lot more than nine people Dom.”

“You never met the whole family.” He replied grabbing my hand. “Come on, and I’ll introduce you to the people you don’t know.”

“I don’t need to be introduced, I need to know how many guns I need.” I said pulling my hand out of his.

He sighed running his hand over his hear, before rubbing the back of his head.

“At least twenty, just in case one or two get lost.”

“Lost isn’t an option here, Dom.” I said with a scowl on my face. “My formula gets into someone else’s hands and that’s it, it’s all over.” I said shaking my head.

“Your formula won’t be being used.” Said Mr. Tall, dark and handsome. He was wearing black biker boots, well-worn denim jeans that hugged his muscled legs leading up to a muscled chest that was being showcased in a white wife beater. He had a strong jawline that was covered by a beard and mustache, his eyes were a dark chocolate brown, and his hair was a mess of black on top of his head. The muscles of his arms bulging as he folded his arms over his chest.

“My way worked just fine before.” I said crossing my arms over my chest. “Who the hell is this fool, thinking he can come into my house, and tell me how things are going to be done.”

“That would be Agent James Monterro.” Dom whispered in my ear.

“What the hell is with you getting mixed up with agents all the time?” I hissed at him before walking out the door. I could hear someone following me, but didn’t stop until I was at my car. I was reaching to open the door when I felt someone put a restraining hand on my shoulder and turn me around.

I brought my fist up and punched the offending man in the face. “You’ll leave me alone if you know what’s good for you Agent Monterro.” I hissed at him, and got in my car, driving off as he got up off the ground.

Dom’s POV

“What the hell is with you getting mixed up with agents all the time?” Jazmine hissed at me before turning to walk out the back door. I couldn’t help the small smirk that crossed my face that I watched Monterro follow her out. I walked out the back door grabbing a beer on the way, and the rest of the family followed. We got out there just in time to see Monterro grab Jazmine by the shoulder and spin her around.

“Bad move.” I heard Mercy say beside me just before Jazmine’s fist flew into Monterro’s face knocking him flat on his ass.

“You’ll leave me alone is you know what’s good for you Agent Monterro.” I heard her hiss before she got in her car and drove away. I sighed once before turning to my only source of information I had on Jazmine.
