Let me just start off by saying this, I absolutely, posotively HATE my glasses. They fall off of my face constantly. They scratch my nose. And, wors of all, they make me look like a complete nerd. As if high school weren't bad enough. Now I have to go through it looking like a nerd. Ugh. I try to convince my parents to get me contacts but there constant reply, "Why would you want to get rid of your glasses? They make you look so sophistocated. Fine. But not until your eightenth birthday, and you have to buy them with your own money." I used to get so upset about it. But not now. Because now, I'm turning eighteen. But now, for my senior year, without my contacts, I'm going to be a completely different me.
