Only Half

Part 4 - Meeting Dad, The Boss and Daddy

"You lying, it's written all over your face..." I whispered.

He frowned at the floor.

"Im fine" He mumbled.

I stopped what I was doing and walked up to him. I lifted his chin and made him look me in the eyes.

"If your okay, swear it" I dared.

I was so tempted to kiss him, but I held myself back.

He scowled and pulled himself away from me, "I don't need to."

He got up and left.

I stayed were I was, frozen.

"What's his problem?" CC said walking in.

I shrugged and finished cooking.

She frowned and sat down, "Well good news is I got the bomb back. A bunny was about to activate it."

She held up the brown fluffy bunny.

"Aww." I said and scratched it under his ears.

"I named him Jerry."

"Nice, food's ready. Let me go get TJ." I said and grabbed my sword that at the door's entrance.

"KK" she said.

I walked outside and jumped down the tree house.

"TJ!" I said loudly.

No one answered.

I walked farther away from the tree house.

"Where did you come from?" I heard a voice from the distance spit with venom.

It didn't sound like TJ...

"Why would I tell you scum bags?" I heard TJ say.

"Because we'll kill you if you don't."

I hid behind a tree and spotted them. TJ was tied to a tree with these two muscular guys in front of him. I don't know why, but they look really familiar. I looked through my pockets and found what I was looking for.

"I was wondering through the woods finding squirrels" TJ said.

"We asked, where did u come from not what are you doing here" the other guy said punching TJ in the gut.

Just as he pulled his hand back I threw my dagger right through his fist.

He cried out.

I quietly and quickly ran away from my location.

"Who's there! Show yourself!" The first guy said.

"Now why would I give out my name and show myself?" I said and moved locations again. I started to climb the nearest tree as fast and as quietly as I could.

"Hold on, I haven't heard that voice since the casino exchange" the first guy said.

"Casino exchange?" I mumbled to myself.

Images of me, this woman, and them flashed before my eyes.

"Holy moly" I said.

"Exactly" said the one that I threw the dagger at.

I jumped down from the tree.

I remembered that casino exchange, and other things that don't make so much sense to me that included them two.

"Hello Sophia" he said.

"Derek" I acknowledge him.

"Why did you threw the dagger?" Derek said.
