Sorry for the late update guys, I survived 10 days without internet connection and School is bitching around again so bear with me and I hope you enjoy this chapter :) :

* Flashback *

The night sky looked pitch black as a few stars started to appear, you couldn't see them all because of the hundred stories buildings aligned the one after the other. From my spot, New York's sky line was clear. It was a breathtaking sight.

I was in the same place that Oli showed me a few weeks ago and somehow it became our secret spot along with the woodhouse, it was an abandoned bridge where a few constructions took place. I got a message from Oli an hour ago saying that he wanted us to meet here like usual, only this time it was an emergency according to what he said

I didn't notice him coming, until I heard him clearing his throat next to me as I looked over at him

" Hey there.."

" Hey " ,he breathed and I immediately knew that something was wrong because Oliver was never the one to say 'hey' next to nothing. We kept staring ahead taking into the silence and the company of each other

" C'mon, aren't you gonna tell me what's going on? " I nudged his side still staring at him while he shook his head " Oli since when do we hide things from each other ? "

" I just, I don't know how you'll react.." he said, this time looking at me

" Oli it's me. Alex. We've known each since I can remember, I'll never judge you " I voiced softly placing my hand on top if his that was holding the bridge rack tightly " Was it Andy ? Bo ? your parents ? " I kept saying random names and he shook his head in disapproval every time

" It was Mira " his said his eyes fixed on the water under us " She broke up with me ,today "

Mira was his girlfriend but now we're gonna have to add the 'ex' I guess. To this point I didn't know how to react, I mean I was in love with my best friend and knowing that he wasn't taken anymore would naturally make me happy. I was ready to jump in the water while clapping my hands and giggling in joy like a little school girl, but I couldn't do that not if it meant making him unhappy

" Oli.. oh my god, I don't know what to say " I gently moved my hand stroking his back and I've noticed that the space between us was literally nonexistent " ..but I don't understand, I thought you guys loved each other ? " and I still remember that day when he told me that he actually had feelings for the new girl in our class, Mira, that day when I experienced my first heartbreak

" That's what I thought.. but apparently she thinks that I'm in love with someone else " his voice was lacking from any emotions, he didn't sound sad but he didn't sound happy either

" Are you ? " I said my voice hoarse as it got caught in the back of my throat, while Oli moved closed to my side and I noticed that if I moved my head up a little our lips would touch " I, I mean are you in love with someone else ..? "

His eyes kept lingering on mine and for a moment I thought he was finally going to kiss me but then he said " That's something I'll have to figure out myself "

* end of flashback *

There are some precious moments in life, that you just want to keep reliving them forever. They make you wish for the ability of putting them in a box and keeping them away from everyone so that you could watch them whenever you want. Kissing Oliver is one of them.
