"Morning" arthit mumbled

"Morning art" earth mumbled back

It was ten in the morning, nothing more than a casual Monday. Arthit was completing his pending files on the laptop while earth made the designs she was told to, it was all peaceful until they heard their boss asking for their attention

"Everyone, can I have your attention for a minute please?" Danai asked

Everyone turned towards their boss only to find a girl standing beside him, she looked like a new employee

"Nam" arthit whispered surprised which soon turned into a smile

Namtan looked around at everyone when she found arthit looking at her, her eyes grew big in surprise as she smiled back at him

"This is namtan, she is a new employee and is joining us from today, I hope you all will take care of her" danai announced

"Sure sir" everyone replied in unison as danai nodded and left

Namtan immediately walked over to arthit, as everyone looked over to them

"Do you know her already?" Earth asked

"She is my childhood best friend, we just met at my parents house yesterday" arthit replied

Earth nodded before smiling at her

"Hey, I'm earth, um..I'm a good friend of arthit's" earth introduced herself

"Oh you don't have to be awkward with me, let's just be friends" namtan replied extending her hand

Earth smiled and nodded before shaking hands with namtan, basically accepting her "in person friend request"

"That's good, though you will need an office tour and will need to have a greeting with our boss" arthit informed

"I did have a whole meeting with khun danai though" namtan replied

"Oh no, not him, our CEO, khun kongpob" earth replied

"Oh, can you show me around and also take me to him if so?" Namtan asked looking at the two now nervous people in front of her

"Not me, arthit will do that" earth replied quickly

"Why me? I..I have a few files to finish" arthit replied

"Is he possibly rude?" Namtan suddenly asked

Arthit and earth turned to look at her, confused whether to agree or not

"I mean, you seem scared to meet him" namtan said shrugging her shoulders

"He isn't rude but seems cold, li..." Arthit was cut by a stern voice

"Who seems cold khun arthit?"

Arthit froze, he knew this voice by heart, he could recognise it in any situation

"Khun kongpob" earth whispered

"Is he him?" Namtan whisper asked arthit

"You didn't answer my question khun arthit" kongpob said

"I..it wasn't about anyone sir" arthit replied, eyes glued to the floor

Kongpob nodded, face blank, before turning towards namtan

"Good morning sir, I'm namtan" namtan immediately bowed

"Good morning, I hope you will take your responsibilities seriously, and not joke around with your work" kongpob informed

Namtan nodded and bowed again, as kongpob walked away

"He is hot" namtan mumbled watching his retreating back

"He is your boss" arthit replied a little anger visible in his voice

"Oh oh, let me show you around the office" earth stood in between chuckling awkwardly

Namtan nodded, not quite sure about arthit's reaction as earth pushed her to walk further

"Someone's jealous" earth whispered in arthit's ear with a smirk before leaving

Arthit huffed, he admits he didn't like what namtan said, but its because he didn't want her to cause trouble having a crush on her boss, he was just saving her, he wasn't jealous in any way, right?

"Earth is just over reacting" arthit told himself before walking to his desk

Kongpob sat on his chair, his eyes on the screen of his laptop but his mind occupied with the scene he saw earlier

He isn't rude but seems cold

The six words kept repeating themselves in his head

So now all I am to him is someone cold? Kongpob thought

Trying to brush off the thoughts, kongpob looked outside to find the employees around working as he decided to get back to work himself too, when his eyes caught a certain figure

Namtan was walking around with earth, and earth was continuously talking, it was obvious she was showing her around

Kongpob really liked namtan from the first look, she looked confident, graceful and perfect even in a new environment

"Guess, it will be good to get to know you khun namtan" Kongpob said before turning back to his laptop
