Arthit and earth were standing outside their office, waiting for namtan to come since the last fifteen minutes

"What's with her today? She keeps disappearing" earth said checking the time

"Let me call her" arthit said removing his phone from his pocket

He was about to give her a call when a ping! There was a message from namtan

"She messaged me" arthit said

Hey arthit, I'm sorry but I urgently
need to go home, I mean my friend's home where I'm staying, she fell down and broke her leg, let's go with this plan some other day >3

Sure! Take care of her

"Her friend broke her leg in an accident, so she won't be joining us, looks like we have to go by ourselves" arthit informed

"Never mind, let's go before its too late" earth said walking towards the car with arthit following behind

Getting inside the car, arthit began to drive as earth looked outside the window, it was a pleasant evening all over

"Don't you think namtan sounded a bit suspicious?" Earth asked

"Huh? Did she?" Arthit asked confused

"I mean yeah, it was yesterday when she told us that her friend, who she lives with is going to her hometown today, and that we can have a get together at her place" earth reminded, turning to look at arthit

Arthit didn't reply, his eyes fixed on the road, though he remembered what earth was talking about

does that mean namtan was lying? But why would she? Arthit thought

"Maybe she didn't go, it somehow got cancelled or something" arthit replied

"Arthit, I know you have heard about it" earth replied sighing

"Heard about what?" Arthit asked, his grip tightening around the steering wheel

"About kongpob and namtan" earth replied

Arthit parted his lips to reply, but closed them not even a second later, he had no excuse for this

"Are you implying she is with him?" Arthit asked

"No, I'm just implying you need to do something if you don't want to lose your love again, not everyone gets a second chance arthit" earth replied staring at him

"One sided love cannot be fulfilled even with the hundredth chance earth, it just doesn't matter, he doesn't love me anymore, not after how I disappointed him" arthit replied, his throat felt dry and his eyes were moist instead

"Have you talk..." Earth was cut by Arthit

"Do you want me to drop you home or want to go for dinner?" Arthit asked

"Ar.." Earth was cut yet again

"Home or restraunt?" Arthit repeated

"Restraunt" earth replied, looking outside the window again

Arthit nodded before driving off to the restraunt again

A while later, they had already reached the restraunt and ordered their food

"The restraunt looks cozy" earth said looking around

"I know right, I guess its going to have a good buisness" arthit replied

Chatting about random things, they were patiently waiting for their food to arrive

Though arthit's mind wasn't at peace since earth mentioned of kongpob and namtan, there were rumours in the office about them being unusually friendly to each other, and arthit was jealous

Earth was probably talking about a friend of hers who was a lovesick fool when arthit heard a familiar voice behind them, making his ears alert as he motioned earth to be quiet

"What?" Earth asked confused

Arthit didn't reply, as he looked around the restraunt but immediately regretted

Earth followed arthit's gaze, as she saw him freeze and tense up a minute later

When her eyes landed on the said direction, she felt her own heart beating fast, there they were, kongpob and namtan taking a seat talking to each other with a calm smile on their face

Wasn't nam with her friend? Was that a lie? She actually had to go with Kong? Are they two really into each other? Why did nam lie to me out of everyone? Arthit had a hundred questions in his head

Once earth was back to her senses, she quickly turned towards arthit, he looked disappointed

"Arthit" earth whispered

"Can..can we get out of here?" Arthit asked in a faint voice

Earth quickly nodded as arthit immediately stood up, taking long steps towards the exit with earth following him behind

Her eyes without her permission landed on namtan and kongpob, as she saw them enjoying their meal oblivious to how they were hurting arthit

I understand that kongpob hurt him, he doesn't know he did, but namtan you, you know how much arthit hates liars, still you chose to hurt him this way? Earth thought before exiting the restraunt

Arthit stood beside their car, staring up at the sky when earth stood beside him, staring at him instead

"Do I look vulnerable?" Arthit asked

"You look brave to me" earth replied

Arthit chuckled, a tint of sadness visible in his voice

"Don't let her know that we saw them, its a secret between us" arthit said

"Bu.." Earth was cut by arthit

"Please" arthit said looking at her

Earth sighed but nodded anyhow, arthit turned back to look at the sky, the clouds were dark, it seemed as if it would rain

Just like me, the sky wants to breakdown too arthit thought
