"Yes yes yes!" I screeched but accidentally awoke my poor child, who then started to cry. I sang and rocked Song Bird in my wings as he whimpered, slowly calming down. Right as he went back to sleep everyone awakened and starred at Soot, Song Bird and I. I was embarrassed so I passed the sleeping baby canary to Soot and flew away. I didn't look back I kept flying until I was far enough away from then and perched myself in the highest tree and cried. I could see my best friend, Arizona flying toward me and perched herself beside me. She wrapped one wing around me and asked what was wrong. I told her that I didn't have the chance to introduce the others to my chick and I don't know what they would think of bringing a baby along with us. She told me that she talked to Soot and he thought it was a great idea, and the others are sure that my cousin will soon have a chick of her own anyway. Finally she asked me to go back to our companions with her. I agreed and right as we hit the air I heard my friends scream. We rushed to where they were, I heard Arizona gasp but all I could see was fire, smoke, feathers flying though the air and blood.
