I walked the 5 blocks "home" and as soon as I opened up the door, Hadley was standing there. "Had..." I began to say he shook his head and headed out the door.
"Hadley, wait. You were right."' I called after him. He turned around. "I knew that." And he kept on walking. Izzy stared at me and sighed. "Miley, it's not worth your time. " she said. She grabbed my arm and pulled me in because she knew I was going to chase after him anyway. "Izzy stop now. Please. I need to talk to him." I pleaded. She shook her head. "Miley. Something happened worse to Hadley and he needs alone time. Please just leave him be." She said locking the door behind me. "Izzy, please. I did what happened worse." I said.
"No you didn't. Trust me. We need to sit down." She said pulling me onto the couch.
What happened next was horrible.
