I saw them give him the medicine. I witnessed it quietly. When they left they told me he would be here a couple more days to get stable. We will have to miss the first couple of days of school back from spring break, but I'd rather be here with him than at a school.

About 3 hours later, he woke up because his mom was patting him a bit to hard. He looked straight up at her, not knowing I was there and he told her so simple words. "Why does she like a dang book that much." He said holding on to his stomach. His mom shrugged "how bout you ask her?" She said gesturing to me.
"Mom, she's not there. I see her but I know she isn't. She is a stupid person who likes damn books and nothing else. She didn't even want to spend time with me. I don't want her here, I never want to be in the same room with her again!" He sorta shouted. He voice cracked like he was about to cry, but he was just waking up.
Tears quickly flooded my eyes and I ran out the door. He looked out the door as I made one last glance into the room.

I heard a couple of words, "your such a stupid person honey. She was there." his mom said. This made me smile for about a second and then I snapped back into realization. My brick walls just fell down by words. My glass just shattered because of a sharp voice. I thought that would take some screaming and kicking and punching, but it only takes a heartbreak.
