yo, long time no see!

(and ngl, it's probably gonna stay that way lmao)

i've not been using wattpad at all for a few months now, had the app deleted and everything. i was just wasting away playing animal crossing... but out of nothing other than pure curiosity (and maybe a hint of nostalgia) i reinstalled to see what's up...

and holy shit i had so many notifications that the poor bell icon could only show "99+"

majority are from this book, since it's my most famous and surprisingly still gaining hella reads & votes despite how slightly cringey some of the one shots are, but hey, to each their own yk? i'm super fucking grateful for that of course, cuz it doesn't matter that i find it a bit cringey now, if y'all enjoy it then by all means, read away! 👌🏻

here's what i wanna say though, no point in delaying it:

i don't plan on updating anytime soon, dunno if i ever will again. it's not that i've lost interest in writing entirely, but it kinda feels like more of a chore... which makes it less enjoyable. probably my brain acting up, adhd life is kicking my ass. and to be completely honest with you, i don't find much enjoyment in writing reader inserts anymore. it's kinda fun, but mostly just... indifferent?

one day i wanna write more for this book, but be more inclusive. so far it's been strictly fem reader with a male character, while i'm literally a fucking lesbian so like... what am i doing?? there's so many awesome women in one piece and all i've written about are the guys?? i'd also like to write about male/nb/neutral/trans readers too cuz there's a SEVERE lack of those

(also im nb myself so idfk really- fellow she/theys where ya at 😎✌🏻)

anyway, that's pretty much it for now. if i remember anything else i'm gonna edit this chapter

ending note: i get so much second hand embarrassment by reading some of my own books now what the fuck is up 😢

UPDATE (december 19th, 2022): I ask that you do not repost my stories on other sites, or translate them and publish on your Wattpad profiles. I got a message regarding this, and while I obviously have nothing against that person, I just am not comfortable knowing that somebody's reposting something I worked hard on, even with credit, and despite translations being relatively harmless.
