Sonic's Training Chapter 4

Knuckles was sitting on the couch, watching Sonic as he was walking back and forth in front of him.

"Now Knuckles, one of the best ways to get a girl is to be a hero!"

"Aren't I already a hero?"

"Well yes but I meant actually be 'her' hero!"

"I don't understand."

"Girls love superheroes and you obviously are one. But what they love about them is how they rescue them!"

"Uh...what?"

Sonic facepalms himself.

"You are going to rescue her from a Villian, become her hero and she'll instantly fall for you!"

"But I am a hero Sonic. I don't get what you're saying."

"Oh for goodness sake. Tails! Is it ready!?"

"Yeah! On my way!"

"Wait till you see this Knuckles."

"Hmm?"

Tails walked in the living room with a cyborg which looks exactly like a normal Mobian citizen.

"What's this?"

"This is a cyborg. We're going to start something easy for you that girls have problems with...purse stealing." Tails said.

"So what is it going to do?"

"It's going to steal her purse and you will stop him and save the day!" Sonic said.

"Ok. Sounds easy enough."

"Now show us the girl Knuckles!"

They arrived in the village and saw Y/N reading a book.

"Is that her Knuckles?" Sonic asked.

He noticed that he didn't respond and was just staring at you.

"I'm guessing that's a yes." Tails said.

"Alright Knuckles snap out of it. We got work to do."

Knuckles shook his thoughts away.

"Sorry."

"Alright Tails. Start him up!"

Tails pressed the button on his cyborg as he opened his eyes and went towards Y/N.

"Hello Ma'am."

You looked up from your book.

"Uh...hello?"

"I'll be taking that!" He snatched the purse from her and ran off.

"Hey! Give it back!"

"Go! Knuckles! Go! Go! Go!"

Knuckles quickly got up and started running.

"Don't worry! I'll stop him!"

Knuckles was able to knock the cyborg down and grab the purse.

"I got it!"

You stood up and smiled.

"Thank you Knuckles!"

Knuckles was running back to you to give your purse back but he accidentally tripped over a rock and threw the purse which landed on someone's grill.

"No!"

The purse was now on fire and everything that was in it was burned to a crisp.

"Huh?" The citizen who owns the grill was shocked as he looked at Knuckles.

Knuckles was scared and nervous as he quickly got up and went to you.

"I am so so sorry. It was an accident. I..."

"That was my favorite purse... Everything I've ever had in there is gone..."

Knuckles felt bad for you as he stood there quietly.

Sonic and Tails looked at each other and rushed towards you.

"Listen. It's not his fault. It's ours. We were planning a prank and it wasn't supposed to do that and we feel awful so we will replace everything for you. We promise." Sonic said.

Y/N sighed and said,

"Thanks I guess."

"And we'll pay you back for everything. Can you give us some time? Please?" Tails asked.

"Sure. If you want to find me, I'll be at the park." Y/N said as you walked away.

Sonic and Tails looked at Knuckles as he looked down sadly.

"Well that didn't go very well." Tails said.

"I'm actually kinda broke at the moment. Could you help get the girl her stuff back Tails?" Sonic asked with a nervous chuckle.

Tails looked at him with a glare.

"What happened to the money that I gave you last week?"

"I might of gotten hungry." Sonic twirled his fingers nervously.

Tails sighed and said,

"Fine. But you owe me one."

"Deal. I am so sorry Knuckles."

"No...it was my fault. I was the one who threw it on the grill by mistake."

"Well we're still gonna try again. Maybe we can..."

They heard a female scream as they turned their heads towards the road which led towards the beach.

They looked at each other and quickly ran towards the scream.
