Chapter 10

I awoke the next morning with a start. I sat up and ran my hand through my hair. I rubbed my eyes and suddenly remembered that Cal had stayed last night. And then I blushed when I remembered what he had done last night.

"What are you blushing about gorgeous?" Cal smirked as he pulled me towards him to plant a kiss on my lips. It was gentle and so sweet. I smiled at him as I lay back down on his chest.

"I couldn't possibly say" I teased in answer to his question.

He bent down and kissed my forehead "that was the best night sleep I've had in a while Miss Jenkins"

I giggled "no complaints from me Mr Wright" and I kissed his warm chest.

"So is it about time we made this official?" he asked

I looked up at him and stared into his gorgeous brown eyes "really? What happened to taking things slow?"

"I want it to be official that your mine that's all babe. We can take everything else slow though, I promise. I just want you to be my girlfriend" he grinned at me

"What's happened to the player I've always known?" I nudged him whilst laughing

"He met the girl of his dreams"

My heart just melted. This is how a girl is meant to be treated. She's not meant to be cheated on and lied too. I deserved to have a decent relationship and if Calum wanted to change for me then who was I to stop him?

"Of course I'll be your girlfriend" I smiled as I leant up to kiss him. He held on tight too me as he passionately kissed me.

He paused breathlessly and looked down at me "so what is my girlfriend going to make me for breakfast?" he smirked

The rest of the day was spent chilling in the flat and lots of kissing which I wasn't complaining about. I couldn't actually believe how much he was changing for me. We were about to start cooking our tea when there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it babe" Calum said as he strode over to the door and opened it. I could hear muffled voices and then Calum came walking back through followed by Shane.

"Bro!" I screamed as I ran over to him to be given a big bear hug off my older brother

"How's my beautiful sis?" he asked me as he let me go to look at me

"I'm good! How are you? And what are you doing here? I thought you were coming to stay next week?" I asked

"Tired after that drive is how I am! And I'm famished so I hope you're gonna cook!" he laughed "and I know I was but I wanted to come see you sooner and make sure you're okay but by the looks of things your fine!" he said as he nudged his head towards Cal.

"Oh yeah Cal meet my brother Shane!" I watched as Shane sized Cal up. They shook hands and took part in some small talk with each other whilst I cooked us all tea.

"Grubs up!" I called as I placed the plates on the table

The dinner passed by slowly with not much conversation between the guys. Cal really was trying with Shane, but Shane seemed so closed off which was unusual for him. I would have to speak to him later. Cal offered to wash up which I gladly appreciated and then it was time for him to unfortunately leave.

"Do you have to go?" I asked for what seemed the millionth time

He laughed "yes babe. You need time with your brother and I'm getting a frosty reaction from him" he shrugged

"I'll speak to him. He's just wary after Ben that's all. I promise he will love you!" I grinned up at him as I placed my arms around his neck. I planted a small kiss at the nape of his neck. He tilted my head up and kissed me long and hard on the lips.
