Astrid's POV:
I spent the night at Hiccup's place. When I woke up I tried getting out of bed, careful to not wake him up.

"Good morning, Milady" He says sleepily while pulling me back close to him

"Morning" I say turning over so that we're facing each other, and Hiccup has this big goofy smile on his face. "What?" I ask

"Nothing you just look so beautiful" He says kissing my neck, and I chuckle.

Once we got out of bed, we walk down the stairs, and it seems like we're the first awake. "Do you wanna make something?" I ask Hiccup who was yawning

"Yeah sure, but if you're helping we better make something simple like pancakes" He jokes, and I roll my eyes

"Oh ha. ha. Very funny Haddock. Fine, pancakes do sound easy to make. How could I possibly mess that up?" a couple minutes later I'm somehow half covered in flour, and Hiccup's laughing so hard, "Oh so you think this is funny?" I say shooting him a look

"It is very funny. I'm not even sure how you managed to get all of that flour on you in a matter of seconds" he says finally pulling himself together

"Let's just finish making breakfast" I say brushing the flour off me laughing

Hiccup's just mixing the batter while I flip the pancakes. "Hey, this is actually really easy" I say impressed with myself for not getting anything burnt, and making something that's actually edible

"Good Morning you two" we hear Stoick's voice from the stairs

"Mowning evie body!" says Dustin from Stoick's arms

"Morning Dad! Me and Astrid were just making breakfast" He says while setting the table

Hiccup continues flipping pancakes while we eat, and he makes a special pancake shaped like the letter D for Dustin.

"Thank you for breakfast guys. I loved it, and Dustin here absolutely lost his mind over the D shaped one" Stoick laughs, and so do we. "Listen lass, tell your family to meet us at Edge Park later. We're going to celebrate this little guys birthday!" He tells me

"Yeah, sure, I'll tell them" I say smiling

***

Hiccup drops me home, and I help my parents pack the stuff we need for the bbq later. We leave the house at 4, and we arrive at Edge Park. "Asty!" I hear a voice call out, and I see Dustin in his little red jacket not so far away

"Hi Dustin! Happy Birthday!" I pick him up and spin around "Where's Hiccup?" I ask while putting him down, and he pulls me to where they've set up

My parents, Jacob, and Stoick exchange greetings then the grilling begins. My Dad, Jacob, and Stoick were grilling the meat, my Mother was sitting on a blanket reading a book, while Hiccup was strumming his guitar singing a song with Dustin.

"Hey" I say sitting next to Hiccup

"Hello Milady. Me and Dusty here were just singing some songs" he says smiling at me

"I didn't know you played the guitar" I say admiring the wooden instrument

"Well, I learnt how to play while I was at boarding school, and my teacher said I was really good at it too. I stopped playing for a while until Dustin came, and he seemed to really like it as a baby" he says rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hiccupy! Pway weindeer song pweaaase" Dustin asks pointing at the guitar, and Hiccup laughs

"Okay Okay, Astrid get ready for some horrible singing" he says sarcastically, and starts strumming a few chords before starting to sing
