Narrator's pov

Melanie pulled the car into the parking lot, a few students were scattered by while the rest were heading towards the school's entrance
"Thanks for the ride babe" Summer grinned
"I didn't have a choice" the brunette glared
The taller girl chuckled as she leaned over towards Melanie's side, her fingers then clasped around the girl's cheeks as she shook her head smiling
"You'd do anything for me because you love me" Summer giggled
"Ew"
"Love you more" Summer said, leaning in a bit closer to place a small kiss on the girl's cheek before letting go of her grip
Melanie tried to hold the glare on her face, darting her eyes towards the raven hair girl but she couldn't hide the small rose pink colour reaching her cheeks
"You're so cute" Summer chuckled, unlocking her side of the door
The two girls slipped out of the jeep and slung their bags over their shoulders, Summer glanced in the direction of her car and noticed that it was still there, untouched since the school's security guard had a Hut nearby to the vehicle in the first place. Poor thing was probably confused who left their car there overnight
"Aren't you going to go check your car out?" Melanie asked, noticing the girl staring at the vehicle
A smile met Summer's lips as she glanced over to the brunette
"Now why would I do that when I can just check you out?" She wiggled her brows
Melanie simply rolled her eyes and gave a scoff
"Because your engine has a problem" She stated
Summer bit her bottom lip in attempt to hide the laughter that wanted to escape
So she took a few steps forward, heading towards the school. Just enough so that she knew she had a safe distance from the wrath that would unleash from the brown eyed monster
"What engine problem?" Summer snickered, her feet started to move faster towards the school
Leaving Melanie standing in the middle of the parking lot with her brows raised as she watched the girl
"You said your engine had probl-"
Her expression faded and her face became hallow, while her eyes slowly became lit with a burning ring of her own anger
"SUMMER"
The raven hair girl snickered as she started to run towards the school door a few feet away, knowing the brunette was on her tail
"GET BACK HERE"
"I'M NOT GOING BACK TO PRISON" Summer laughed
The girl finally made it to the door, her leg was the first to aim to the wooden slabs and kick the door wide open
She then turned the corner, her feet still moving at a fast pace as she dashed through the hallway
A few students leaped out of the way and jolted in the corner to avoid being slammed while others widened their eyes and watched the two girls chase down the tiled floor
"SUMMER HARLOW"
"YES BEBE"
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU"
"THE LORD WOULDN'T LIKE THAT NOW WOULD HE?"
Melanie's eyes widened and her face fell along with her jaw at the audacity of the raven hair girl
Which fueled her drive even more, her legs worked faster as she darted after the girl down the hallway
