In the city of Glasgow, Peter was going to an interview to become a reporter. He walks to the daily planet and saw two of his old friends Caedan Flinter and Aidan Moffat.

Peter: Aidan, Caedan, I haven't seen you two since High School!
Aidan: Peter, what are you doing here?
Peter: Here for an interview for a job.
Caedan: Really?
Peter: Yeah. Trying to become a reporter.
Caedan: Well, we hope you get the job.
Aidan: Yeah, it'll be good to catch up!
The three sit down and they talk until Peter is called into the office, for the interview.
Boss: So, Peter McDonnell, any friends in high places?
Peter: Most of the Avengers are my friends. The only two I'm not close with is Hawkeye and Black Widow. Although I'm closer to Black Widow than I am with Hawkeye.
Boss: I see. Any encounters with any supervillain's?
Peter: No.
Boss: Why do you want this job?
Peter: Well, I've always wanted to be a reporter. It was either here or the daily bugle. But I heard that the bugle pays less than here. Especially with the obsession of branding that Spider-Man guy a menace.
Boss: No kidding. Here, we see ALL heroes as equals. People trying to do the right thing. Well, Mr. McDonnell, welcome to the Daily Planet. You have the job. You start on Monday.
Peter: Thank you so much, sir.
Peter walks out of the office and goes out to celebrate only to hear a car about to go out of control. So, Peter runs into an alley and changes into his real work clothes.

He then takes off to stop the car and save who is in any danger.
