She was quite happy that day
She thought she'd found a true friend
But she didn't realise when
That friendship was starting to bend
When it was started to find a destination
Different than the one she'd planned
Both of us are girls, she thought
But these words her heart won't understand
She was starting to fall in love
Her dreams about her started to grow
But her sad self was crushing her feeling
For her offence to stay low
But one day, it happened and she
Kissed her best friend
Who was equally shocked and the smile
On her face was a message sent
Both were happy, with matching smiles
In each other's arms they were
But the next day what they saw
All passed away in a blur
The curses, the insults said so fast
Maybe in the blink of an eye
Ignoring those words wasn't a choice
Even if they'd like to try
But still they fought, with teary eyes
Their hands clasped together
At the end, the love won, they smiled
Once again with each other.
