I whipped the last part of pink icing atop the cake , technos gonna love it.. Karl stared at the cake in amazement "damn.. it's so pretty " the cake was a two tier vanilla cake with white fondant , pink swirled icing layed atop the cakes edge , a pig logo layed smack damn in the middle of it , I head horses arrive outside shit I red nightmare I pushed my fingers to my mouth letting out a faint whistle " NIGHTMARE COME HERE" I soon saw nightmare peering from the door sadly "I'm here" I motioned nightmare to go behind the cake soon explaining what to do , after doing so I heard the palace doors open techno sighed "I'm homeeeee" techno came into the kitchen soon later , me and Karl took part poppers are popped them in technos face technos ears wiggled slightly At the sudden loud noise his eyes twinkled slightly , confetti splattered around his hair he smiled and picked the confetti off he peered up and stared at the cake "wow I dont know what to say ... " I smiled "no need to say anything techno just dig in " techno smiled and walked towards the cake , Karl and him had a conversation whilsts cutting it nightmare peered from behind the cake walking towards me hm? "Uhh y/n ... I'm bored this whole birthday thing isn't really my kinda cup of tea.." I smiled at nightmare " you can always help out in the garden if you'd like! Or just go outside in general, just make sure not to get in any trouble " he smiled at me and headed outside he waved from behind and left what now... I headed towards the celebration and saw Tommy and tubbo stuffing their mouths in cake "HEY!" Tommy and tubbo grabbed their plates and ran out of the palace ... what are those boys up to?.. Karl and techno continue chatting time passes and now I'm here stuck cleaning the mess up , I pick up plates and confetti from the ground placing it in the garbage , I stash the leftover cake inside of the fridge and head off to bed

3:56am

I heard banging coming from the garden what could someone need at this time ?.. i put on a black cloak and pulled up the hood , I wore baggy black sweatpants and a dark purple shirt , I headed towards the door slowly opening it nightmare?.. nightmare wore a red and black stripped sweater and nude colored pants , flowers overflowed from his pockets , he seemed nervous and .. mad? "Y/n! you locked the door!" Nightmares cheeks slowly became puffy was he gonna cry ?... "I'm sorry I didn't-". Nightmare ran into me giving me a large hug slowly slumping down making him short and heavy against my body

"Nightmare.." nightmare seemed vulnerable he backed away "sorry about that " I sighed "no need. Just head to bed alright ? It's late " I gave nightmare a pat on the back before leaving , nightmare followed behind

Nightmare

I followed y/n tiredly what was I thinking I sighed and told y/n goodnight now that I think about it I don't really have a bed... I wandered the halls aimlessly I feel like I'm being to sensitive towards them.. I need to be more tough I hate this human thing I feel like my brain scatters whenever I'm around them... heat fills my face when I'm near Karl and y/n.. I feel so embarrassed around them . I sigh take a seat next to a wall soon falling asleep

I reach my room and open the door ,closing it behind me karl? Karl sat atop my bed almost half asleep "heyo! Yawn technos birthday was great" I smile at him slightly confused "yeah it was but what are you doing in my bed Karl." He laughs "what? Can I not be here? Huff " Karl crosses his hands "no. You can't I need to sleep " Karl stared at me "hey why did you leave earlier anyways ." Oh yeah nightmare "nothing much i think me or someone locked the garden door whilst nightmare was outside , had to let him inside "

"Oh! Alright then " Karl pulls up the covers and sleeps I just said to get out my bed . I sigh and sit next to him on the bed "Karlll get UPP " Karl lets put annoyed noises "seriously Karl get up I have stuff to deal with tomorrow " Karl sits up and pulls me in close , I now layed next to him slightly flustered , my mind raced Karl's hand ran through my hair he looked down at me and smirked "pfft heyy " he said all happily I sigh "no" Karl's face slumps "your so mean " Karl layed a soft kiss atop my head and pulled the covers above both of us , I fell asleep in Karl's arms

Morning

I woke up to screaming in the halls , Karl was still sound asleep Tommy. I sighed and got up tiredly i opened the door to be met with nightmare and Tommy staring at eachother , Tommy looked at me "WHAT IS THAT.... THING?!?" I sighed "it's nightmare and it's not a thing ." Nightmare seemed embarrassed and nervous "yeah I'm not a thing . All I was trying to do was be nice ." Nightmare held a red flower in his hand that's sweet .

"Tommy... try to be nicer to nightmare .. HES just as human as you are , now if you will I need to handle some things , " I left nightmare and Tommy alone heading towards the exit of the palace just to be met with a man with deer horns , a red nose and a brown suit white a blue eye mask on.. he held a whiteboard he smiled at me and wrote something down that I wish I didn't read.
