Ray stretched her long arms and put them behind her head as she yawned loud enough to grab the attention of the whole Cafe.

,,After all we've been through today, you're still tired?" The dark haired male questioned taking a sip of his latte

,,Huh? Yeah dude, today drained me" She complained in a whiney tone

,,Drained you? Please, I did most of the work while you were flirting with the victims" Aki sipped on his tea

,,I wasn't flirting, I was calming them down"

,,Yeah, yeah whatever you say..."

They sat there in an awkward silence sipping on their beverages as they listened to the many conversations being held amongst the other Cafe guests

,,So...Aki, what's your story?"

,,My story?" He set his teacup down on the table eyeing her as he folded his sexy arms

,,Yeah, when I look at you I see someone, that's been through a lot you know?" She sets her chin on her right hand as she stared into the man's mysterious orbs

,,Tch, why would I wanna tell someone I barely know or care about my business?" He states harshly with his arms crossed

,,Well, you don't have to, I mean if you wanna sit here awkwardly then fine by me" She grabs her now lukewarm tea and enjoys it, eyeing the view out the window

after what felt like an hour of silence, he released a deep sigh as he ran his hand through his jet black hair

,,I grew up in a small family consisting of my mother, father, brother and I."

She gave him an amused look, directing all of her attention on him

,,My little brother was always sick, my parents had to take care of him all the time so I was often alone.." She caught a glint of sadness in his dark eyes as he moved his gaze towards the window

,,One day, I went out to play alone as my brother was yet again to ill to participate. I got out of the house angry and then..." He zoned out as he remembered the day

,,And then...?" Ray reached out for his hand to signal him to carry on with his tale. He flinched at her touch and gave her a blank stare

,,Then they were all murdered. You've heard my story now, let's go before it gets dark." He rose from his seat, threw a couple of yens on the table and walked away

Ray was baffled. It was as if Aki switched his personality from a vulnerable, passionate man back to the dick she knew he could be. Upon the realization that the man whom she'd only known for a small while had opened up to her a bit, a huge smile revealing her shiny white fangs made its way onto her face as she trailed behind the man.

We all have traumatizing experiences. I shouldn't force him to tell me his, but I hope one day he's comfortable enough to do so...

,,Is that all?" The red head asked, raising an eyebrow at Ray and Aki. They had just finished discussing the protocol for the day.

,,Yes miss." She nodded at the dark haired male and got off her chair and sitting her pretty ass on the edge of her desk folding her arms.

,,You two seem to be getting along spectacularly." a smirk made its way to her plump lips. Ray put an arm around her partner's shoulders and pulled him so close, his ear was against her breasts.

,,Yup, we're totally like best friends now!" The dark male harshly pulled away from her, a scowl on his face.

,,We aren't best friends, I can just tolerate you better now."

,,Yeah yeah, keep telling yourself that.." Makima couldn't help but chuckle at the pair.

They'd look so good together...

The red head bit her lip at the thought. It slightly aroused her..

,,Miss?" She snapped out of her unholy thoughts, meeting Aki's gaze.

,,Yes?"

,,Are we dismissed?"

,,Oh actually, I'd like to have a bit of a chat with Ray." Aki tilted his head, confusion clear on his face. He simply nodded at his superior and exited the office, leaving the women alone.

,,If this is about the hentai, I swear it was Denji's idea!" Ray raised her hands in defense warning another cute chuckle from Makima.

,,No, no darling it's not about that. I wish it was as simple as hentai." Suddenly a pained expression was visible on her doll like face. Ray walked closer towards her with a concerned look in her dark orbs.

,,Hey, what's wrong?" She placed her hands on the woman's shoulders as she stared deep into those golden eyes of hers. Makima leaned into Ray's grasp and wrapped her arms around her as she quietly sobbed.

,,I-" Speechless, Ray just embraced her boss and simply allowed her to pour her heart out. She rubbed her back and whispered a couple 'I'm right here's until Makima finally pulled away and stared back into Ray's eyes and then at her lips.

,,Ray..."

,,Yes ma'am?" She breathlessly answered as She stared back at Makima's lips, softly licking her own.

,,Kiss me..."
