Isn't it crazy?

Chapter Fourteen- This is the end

Bex's POV:

We all heard what Bob said about the baker.  As soon as I heard his voice I told the girls to stop banging and keep quiet. As soon as Bob told Gerard the baker was dead Shay burst out crying and nearly fell down the stairs. Jenny held her and for once she was serious, she was scared...We all were.

We was locked in the basement with a killer in the house and we couldn't do anything about it. Sophie was stuck out there with Gerard and I was worried sick. What if she was his next victim? I heard her cry, she sounded pained. 

I walked down the stairs and found a box to sit on, holding my head in my hands. My anxiety was over the roof at this point, I could barely breathe.

"Deep breaths Bex" Jenny whispered, trying to avoid the possibility of me having a panic attack. At the start of this kidnapping I thought that it wasn't that bad. I mean, they didn't really hurt us...They was just crazy! Now? Now I fear for all of our lives, I felt hopelessness take over my body. My friends were all in danger!

"We're going to die" I whispered, my eyes filling with tears. 

"No we're not" Jenny frowned sitting Shay down. "Look, we all need to stay calm"

"W-We're definitely going to die, this is the end...The signs are here" Shay whispered wiping her tears, we looked at her confused, "J-Jenny's actually being serious for once" She half smiled and we joined her.

"Yeah, laugh it up whilst you can, it won't last for long" She grinned and sat on the floor staring at us. "They aren't killing me, I know karate!" She did some karate arm movement and I just shook my head. These are the friends I wanna keep, we're in deep shit and they're still making jokes.

We heard a creek near the top of the stairs and Shay whimpered.  The door didn't open though, we was safe for now. 

"We need a plan" I whispered

"Yeah, they open the door, we all hide and then BANG I knock the fuckers out!" Jenny jumped up doing a karate pose. "Trained ninja at the ready" She winked and we stared in awe.

"Really Jenny? Really? I liked the serious you better. I mean, our lives are on the line but please joke around as much as you can" I said sarcastically. "Sorry, I'm just on edge...Considering the situation"

The door slammed open making me fall behind the box covering me in dust. I heard scampering around which meant Shay and Jenny hid. Footsteps came down the stairs and I peaked through a small gap through the box. It was Mikey!

"Uh...Girls?" He looked around nervously, fiddling with his hands. He was scared of us? Or did we make him nervous. "Gerard...Gerard said that we need to go to the living room" He kept looking around but couldn't see anyone, hell, I couldn't see anyone! "Please"

"HI-YA!" Jenny jumped out of no where and kicked him in the side making him fall down and groan. "Told you!" She crossed her arms smirking until she saw who it was. "Oh shit, wrong dude" She smiled innocently as Mikey started rolling around on the floor in pain holding his side. 

"Ouch!" He shouted, "You asshole!" He slowly sat up and glared at her, "What did I ever do to you!?"

"Uh, kidnap me numb nuts" She rolled her eyes and he laughed a little, nodding. "Come here" She offered her hand out, he stared at it for a second before taking it. I'm surprised she didn't let  go to make him fall again. "Girls come out!" She sang and Shay slowly came out of hiding.

"SHAY!" He grinned, running up to her and hugging her. "Oh I've missed you"

"It's only been about half an hour" She mumbled into his chest and I slowly got up and climbed over the box. 

"Mikey, why does Gerard want to speak to us?" 

"It's about the baker dude, bad news" He whispered letting go of Shay. "He uh, he died" Mikey looked at the floor sadly. 

"We know. And we know Bob killed him" Shay whispered and Mikey looked at her confused. "We overheard them speak" 

"Well, Gerard wants to sort things out. Wants to make sure you all feel safe. He even told me a secret that I'm not aloud to tell anyone else!" He grinned, proud of himself. Shay sighed and walked up to him holding his hand.

"What did he tell you oh darling Mikey?" I heard Jenny snicker in the background and glared at her. "Come on, you trust me don't you?" Shay whispered and he bit his lip nodding.

"Well, Gerard said that to make you girls feel safe we're going to have to get rid of the problem!" He smiled. "We're getting rid of Bob"
