Intercede For Others

God won't reveal to us something if we have nothing to do with it. I would sometimes have dreams of people telling me their problems but in real life, they barely speak to me. I would have dreams where God would reveal to me some things that are happening in their lives that are negative. Maybe it's Jealousy, pride or depression but in the dream, I would see them acting on those feelings.

At the beginning of my walk. I didn't know what to do. I didn't, I tried speaking to the people so they could tell me their problems but they would remain silent. In real life, I could see the problems they had but couldn't do much because they weren't speaking to me. I wondered what to do.

Then, my mother and a couple of older wiser Godly people in my life began telling me that when God reveals something about another people's life to me. Maybe not in a dream, maybe you notice someone is dealing in real life cant discern that some friends are toxic for them or that someone is dealing with insecurity. I realised it's not always wise to tell the person WHAT God has revealed to you. If you do, you might freak the person out because you know insecurity or weakness of there's especially if you aren't close with the person or they aren't listening to you (or as strong in faith).

So what do we do?

We rebuke sis! We begin going in a spiritual war, armour up and spirit-filled and begin interceding for someone. We as believers don't just pray for ourselves, we don't just help ourselves but support each other. We pray for others the way we would pray for ourselves and our own family. We pray for those who are even our enemies and seek to persecute us. We are a family of prayer and if God reveals something about someone it means you can do something about it that maybe the other person can't. Maybe you are spiritually stronger than the other person or the battle that person has needed some extra support.

Challenge

Find someone you know is dealing with something. This can also be a celebrity or someone you heard of. Intercede for that person and you can even fast on their behalf. Pray against whatever is not of God in their lives and stand firm that and declare that no weapon formed against a sibling in Christ shall prosper!
