Lies

I wake up and my face is throbbing and dried with tears. I head to the bathroom and see my  face beaten up so badly so I wash my face carefully and start to cover up with foundation to make sure the bruises stay hidden and nobody knows. I grab some cuffed jeans and a cardigan and a hoodie in my bag along with some sunglasses on my face. I walk out of my bedroom and see Neil passed out on the coutch with countless beer bottles everywhere I scoff and roll my eyes grabbing my board and skating to school nervous about my bruises showing but I play it cool walking in with my hoodie into class sitting down but I feel as eyes stare at me. "Miss mayfield please take off your hoodie and sunglasses" mr.Clarke says "I can't" "and why not?"I was trying to think of a reason quickly but all that came out was "because I said no" I heard a bunch of laughing and oooos "miss mayfield do you want to talk in priv-" I walk out of the room and I hear him yelling but I don't care and go to the girls bathroom so I could be alone but of course there's another person.  "Hi" I hear a soft voice say walking up to the sink "hey" I say back "uhm are you ok?" She asks and looks at me again with slight smile "I'm fine" somehow she could like sense I'm lying and I felt her take off my sunglasses and pull down my hood. " Oh my gosh are you ok?!?" She quickly says examining the bruises that didn't cover so well with the makeup. "Why did you do that!" I quiet yell "I'm sorry but you need to come" she says grabbing my arm and I put the stuff back on and she takes me to talk in a empty classroom "we need to tell someone like..a nurse!" She says "no" "no?" She replies "no I'm not telling anyone anything." I say a bit harshly "then I will do something we can go to my house and get medicine for it" she says "no I'm fine" "no your not" "yes" "no" "yes" "no" "ye-" after a bunch of arguing "no we are going to my house and I will help you end of story" she says firmly "but how against the rules?" "we make our own rules" I say back "she puts her hand in mine and I blush a little we head off campus

"Are you gonna kill me" I tease "what no why" "I was teasing but it's a bit creepy your house is in the middle of the woods" I laugh "oh" she giggles we head inside she pulls me into her bathroom and begins scrambling for "medicine" as she calls it she begins putting some bandaids on and tries her best she frowns "I dont do a good job" she says sadly "it's perfect" "really?" "Yes of course thankyou" I smile "I never got to ask what's your name?" She says "I'm Max and you are?" "Eleven" how about I call you el for short?" I smile
