* Katsumi's POV *
Sasuke had left the village overnight, and now they sent Naruto, Kiba, Shikamaru, Chouji, and Neji after him. They were gone for a few days, but I've been notified of everyone's return so, I quickly rushed to the hospital, they wouldn't let me see Neji or Chouji and Naruto hasn't even returned yet
I went to see Kiba next. I slowly opened his door then went inside
"Are you okay?" I asked
"Could be better..." He chuckled then I looked at Akamaru
"How's Akamaru?" I asked again
"Sis said that the muscles of his legs are torn and that we won't be able to go on walks for a while" He said sadly
"At least you two are alive" I smiled and Kiba smiled back.
"Yeah you're right...I heard that Naruto couldn't bring Sasuke back" Kiba said
"It seems like it" I sighed "You just get better, then we'll go back with Hina as team eight" I said with a smile then left Kiba to rest
I went to check on Shikamaru next. "Shikamaru" I said walking up to him and grabbing the hand of his with the broken finger. "Has that brain of yours gone bad?" I asked
"You're so troublesome just like Temari there" He said in annoyance
"I'll take that as a complement" I smiled
Tsunade came out of Chouji's room and sighed. I was worried but then, a smile rose on her face "He's alright now!" Tsunade said and I let out a sigh of relief
"The continuous cell destruction from the pill's side effects was stopped by the antidote I mixed. It was a big help, Shikaku" Tsunade said as she walked over to the bench and sat down "The Nara clan's secret medicine preparation manual was very useful. Having to write something like that must've been hard work. The fruit of many years of effort"
"Thank you" Shikaku said
"Tsunade-sama!" Shizune came in running. "Hyuuga Neji is out of danger!" Shizune said "Also, a report! Just now, Hatake Kakashi and Uzumaki Naruto have returned! He's in serious condition, but it isn't life-threatening!". I smiled
"Shikamaru, looks like the mission failed. But everyone's alive. That's the most important thing" Tsunade-sama said
Shikamaru was crying silently, but we could see the tears fall on the floor. "Next time, I'll do it perfectly" Shikamaru said.
After a few hours, we were allowed to see Naruto. I went alone and opened the door to find him depressed. "Naruto...are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah..." He said weakly. "Do you want me to get you anything? Ramen for example?" I asked ad he shook his head as a no. "Oh...okay..." I said. "Could you leave me alone for a while...?" He asked weakly. I said nothing, but still left without saying a word. I stood outside his room for a bit before going back home
-Time Skip-
Well, everyone recovered, Sakura started learning medical ninjutsu, Naruto got over his depression, and I haven't changed.
I went to Kiba's to pick him up so we can go get Hina and meet up with Kurenai-sensei.
"What's wrong? For you to go through the trouble of picking me up... We have to gather at Kurenai-sensei's after this, anyway" Kiba said
"Nothing. I just feel nice today" I said stretching my arms "What was the mission like?" I asked with a smile
"It sure was something! Though you wouldn't understand it even if I explained it to you." Kiba said while I was looking at Akamaru chasing a butterfly. He's so precious.
"I heard about it from everyone else. I guess it's your turn to tell me" I said like a tsundere with puffy cheeks.
"I'll tell you about it later" He said and we were outside the Hyuuga place.
* Naruto's POV *
I woke up just to see the traitorous Ero-sennin.
"AHHH ERO-SENNIN!" I shouted
"Hey! It's been a while, hasn't it, Naruto?" Ero-sennin said
"Don't say, 'It's been a while' You stupid hermit! Here you said that you would help me with my training and take me on as your student! Where the hell have you been Dattebayo?!" I shouted
"Well, how to say it...I guess I was gathering information" Ero-sennin said
"You were probably 'Gathering information' in the hot springs!" I pouted
"You idiot!" Ero-sennin yelled at me "Even I have certain things I have to do. I was hunting information on the Akatsuki" Ero-sennin said seriously
"Akatsuki?" I asked
"I was able to find the motive under their actions. It's getting close. I'm going to really polish you up before those guys come after you in two years, like they promised they would" Ero-sennin said seriously. There was a bit of silence before Ero-sennin spoke again
"I wonder if you're ready for it." He said
"Heh, I'm tired of waiting all this time Dattebayo" I smirked
"Oh and, Katsumi can't come with us" Ero-sennin said
There was just silence before I burst out
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE ISN'T COMING WITH US YOU STUPID PERV?!" I yelled standing on the bed
"Naruto, Katsumi has a special chakra. If you two are caught by anyone during the time we are training, it could spell your deaths" Ero-sennin said seriously
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Only Katsumi has the power control the Kyuubi inside of you, but she hasn't learned to use it yet. That is why if she falls into the wrong hands, you two are doomed along with the whole world world"
-Time Skip-
*Katsumi's POV*
"I guess that's about it" Naruto said looking at his packed bags
"Naruto, be careful" I said then he hugged me
"Of course, Nee-chan!" He grinned
"Stop calling me Nee-chan. We don't know who's older" I smiled awkwardly
"You are my big sis, and I'm your big bro Dattebayo!" Naruto stated then ran out of the apartment
'Naruto...I'll make sure that you become the best...Even if it means killing others...'
