I woke up today to the sound of my alarm clock beeping. I got up, went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and got ready before I wake up my brother. I wanted to let him sleep for an extra 10 minutes like I always do when he comes back home late.
"Nii-chan wake up..." I said gently shaking him
"Five more minutes..." He said half asleep
"But, tomorrow's the graduation exam. you have to focus in class and practice your jutsus" I said in a low voice and he shot up from bed
"THIS TIME I'LL BE A NINJA YA DATTEBAYO" He shouted "I said tomorrow" I said with a smile but he just ran to the bathroom and gave me a thumbs up. I went to the kitchen and quickly made us breakfast and packed our lunch for the day.
"Nee-chan I promise that I'll pass tomorrow" Naruto said sadly sitting down and starts eating his food.
"Yeah, I believe in you dattebane" I said quietly smiling
"THEN I'LL PASS THIS TIME DATTEBAYO" Naruto shouted raising his fist in the air. I giggled with him for a little before getting up
"Let's go, Nii-chan. We'll be late" I grabbed his hand and began walking to the academy.
As we were walking, we kept getting glares from the villagers like every normal day
"Katsumi" Naruto said
"What is it?" I asked
"You go on ahead. I have to do something" He said grinning goofily
"Okay...Don't be late" I said then we went our separate ways
When I entered my classroom, I kept getting dirty looks from everyone. I ignored them all and sat down next to Hinata
"Hey Hinata" I said smiling
"Good morning Katsumi-chan" She replied smiling as well
"Naruto said he has to do something. He'll be here soon" I smiled
"I guess also Naruto-kun has things to do" Hinata chuckled and I started giggling
"He probably went to paint of the hokage faces" I smiled
Me and Hinata kept chatting for a while until Iruka-sensei walked in with a tied up Naruto
"Listen Naruto. You failed the last final exam and the exam before that. You shouldn't be fooling around like that" Iruka-sensei scolded Nii-chan but instead he just looked away and huffed. That really made Iruka-sensei snap
"We're going to have a review test on the transformation jutsu! Those who already passed will have to line up as well!" Iruka-sensei yelled
"WHAT?!"
-Time skip-
After school, Nii-chan had to clean the Hokage faces. I offered him help but he refused and told me to go back home and sleep
It was pretty late now but I couldn't go to sleep without making sure Nii-chan's okay. I fell asleep on the kitchen table and when I woke up, I was in my bed and Nii-chan was in his. I let out a relieved smile before getting up and going to the bathroom to get ready then went to wake up Nii-chan
"Nii-chan wake up" I said gently shaking him and he shot up from bed
"I'LL BE A NINJA THIS TIME" He shouted as he ran to the bathroom. I chuckled and went to the kitchen to make breakfast and packed our lunch.
"NEE-CHAN LET'S GO" Nii-chan yelled grabbing my hand and starting to run towards the academy
Me and Naruto arrived at the academy and took our usual seats. Nii-chan sat next to Kiba and I sat next to Hinata.
"Hi Hinata" I said quietly with a smile sitting down next to her
"Hi Katsumi-chan" Hinata said with a smile
"How are you today?" I asked smiling
"I'm fine. What about you?" She asked back
"Couldn't be better Dattebane!" I grinned
Iruka-sensei walked in with a clipboard then the whole class stopped talking
"We will now start the final exam. If your name is called, come to the classroom next door. Th subject will the clone jutsu" Iruka explained and Nii-chan looked so nervous. That's his worst jutsu. "First up, Uzumaki Katsumi" Iruka called and I went with him
Iruka-sensei sat down next to Mizuki-sensei
I did the hand signs for the clone jutsu and created 3 clones
"Amazing, Katsumi! You pass" Iruka said with a smile
I walked up to the table and grabbed my headband then tied it around my forehead and walked out. I skipped all the way to the classroom and motioned for Naruto to come outside. Sure enough, he did
"Nii-chan, after you finish your exam, come see me at Ichiraku's" I giggled and then ran out of the academy building to Ichiraku's as fast as I can.
"Oji-san! 2 miso char siu ramen!" I said
"Today's the graduation, right? It's on me then!" Oji-san said giving me a thumbs up
"You're the best!" I said with a bright smile then someone ruffled my head from behind
"You're energetic as usual Katsumi-chan" Ayame-san said
