The next day Canada awoke to no one beside him. It wasn't weird, since Finland tends to wake up earlier in the mornings then the Canuck does.

Canada groaned nonetheless before getting up. At least they were lucky that the mornings are significantly more warmer then the nights.

Canada sighed before walking down the stairs and seeing Finland cooking. "What are you cooking, Finn?" The Canadian asked as he walked behind the other. "Uhm- nothing" Finland lied.

He was making pancakes. Or, trying to. Most of them came out as burned though.... which didn't help. Finland wasn't exactly the best cook.

"Are you cooking pancakes?" The Canuck asked, looking past the others' shoulder. Finland quickly shooed him away nodding guiltily. "I mean, I was trying.... but that didn't exactly work out for me" he gestured towards the mostly burned pile of food. "Well, let me help you!" Canada said gleefully. Finland smiled at the warmness his smile always brings.

After they both had eaten, Canada tried to convince Finland to buy a new heater, but the younger shook his head. "No, we can't do that. We could maybe sleep in the Nordic household until our heater gets replaced" the Finnish said sternly. Canada sighed.
"But- we could may-"
"Canada, I already said no. Don't over-push it. There's a limit to how much a person can be whiny. And you're over that limit already" the younger said rolling his eyes. "Fine. Fine" Canada grunted. "We're sleeping at the Nordic household then."
