through the miracle of childbirth,
you have been put on this earth,
to learn and love and grow.
the tiny seeds you sow,
the picture frames and photos,
all show your small steps and gradual progress.
on this precarious road to achieve success,
maybe you've felt pressured or depressed,
just know that you're not alone in this fight.
working long hours, day and night,
on the way we might lose sight
of what truly matters in this life.
the hills we climbed,
or accumulated dimes,
none of that mattered because
gone was time.
