Third Person

Sending Luke Away

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆

Losing Amy and Rory had been horrible for Wendy, she kept herself locked in her bedroom on the TARDIS, only going out for food and to use the bathroom, and the only person she talked to was Luke, although this was mainly to ask him what the rest of his childhood was like. Through this she had found out that River had took a picture that was taken at one of Amy and Rory's parties that they threw, which featured Wendy trying to actively ruin the photo, by smiling like a serial killer, and the Doctor taking way too much pride in his bow-tie. On top of losing her sister and brother-in-law, Wendy also had to come to terms with the fact she had missed out on her sons childhood, she obviously could have been sent back by the Angel, but watching her family grow old and die without her, well, it would have broken her.

Three months after New York, Luke had decided that he wanted to go and explore the universe, and make sure he is in the places where he needs to be, to stop a paradox from forming. So, with his own Vortex Manipulator on his wrist, Wendy and the Doctor were in the same room together for the first time in three months, only this was to say goodbye to their son.

"Have you got everything? Are you sure you want to go so soon? You can leave it a bit longer." Wendy asked in quick succession, "Mum, I've got everything. If I don't go now, you'll ask the same question again, so might as well start travelling now." Luke answered.

"Okay. Right, be careful, don't get hurt. And don't tell past us who you are, that would be a bad idea." Wendy told her son.

"I know. You've told me that already." Luke complained, "I was just reminding you." Wendy said as she held up her hands and walked backwards.

"Bye, don't do anything stupid." Luke said as he typed the coordinates into the Vortex Manipulator. He then hugged Wendy and then hugged the Doctor. The two waved at their son as he went to work for Winston Churchill during WW2.

Wendy turned to the Doctor and then pulled him into a hug, burying her head in his neck, he reciprocated the action and said, "We should relax. Stop fighting aliens and be normal, or as normal as we can be."

"I'd like that. What time period were you thinking?" Wendy asked.

"What about the Victorian times?"

A/N

Very short chapter, but you know.

The Snowman one next (I genuinely don't remember the name off of the top of my head, I've not watched Series 7b since it was released, so... Yeah, this is gonna be fun, probably going to hate a lot of the episodes, as Clara and 11 was a weird combination ngl).
