*Akari's POV*
(This takes place they next day at school during lunch)
*Akari yawns*
"Hey Akari!" Jake yelled while running over to me
Akari: Oh hey Jake!
Jake: where were you yesterday? I didn't see you after school
Akari: oh yeah sorry about that... I actually had detention heh.. 🥲
Jake: You had detention on your first day?! But I don't understand you've never gotten detention in your life.
Akari: Not up until now and I've got it for a month too
Jake: A WHOLE MONTH?! Akari I literally left you alone for half a day and this is what happens what the hell did you even do?!
Akari: well I sorta maybe.... got into another fight with Levi?
Jake: AGAIN?! That's two times in one day. What happend?
Akari: Well I was going to my fourth period class and turns out Levi is also in that class.
Jake: oh my god I already see where this is going
Akari: We didn't necessarily fight right when we saw each other like in the gym but-
Jake: but you got into some stupid argument and fought in front of your class.... Am I right?
Akari: yeah... but literally out of no where he just started being hella rude to me and I don't know why. He's been like that for a while now.
Jake: I know there's no fighting allowed in class but did the teacher really have to give you a whole month of detention?
Akari: it's not just me it's Levi too. The worse part is that those detention hours are supposed to be study periods where we work together.
Jake: Oof sorry little dude but I cannot see that going well
Akari: I know I mean the first session was ok but for a whole month? I don't know if I'll be able to survive.
I started thinking about the way Levi acts and what he might do to me during detention while the volunteer isn't looking.
*Akari's thoughts of Levi yelling at her*
"MOVE FASTER"
"Why are you so stupid?"
*slams her head into desk*
"GET IT RIGHT OR ILL CRUSH YOU AND WE'LL BE STUCK HERE EVEN LONGER"
"IVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU"
*kicks her across room*
*Akari screams when getting kicked* AHHHHH
*Akari starts to shiver*
Akari: I'm getting chills just thinking about it....
Jake: what do you think he might do to you?
Akari: I don't know.. kick me across the room?
Jake: LOL I don't think he'll do that in front of a supervisor
Akari: yeah but after what happened yesterday he's pretty much capable of anything that has to do with beating me up
Jake: Well if theres anything you can't handle just call me for help
Akari: Thanks I will
"Oh hey guys!" Aiden said while walking over to us
"Heyyy" Brianna yelled while also running over to us
Jake: Hey guys!
Akari: Hi Aiden! Hey Bri!
Aiden: So have you guys eaten yet?
Akari: No not yet
Brianna: Great! Let's all go get lunch together!
We saw Selena walk by and Jake asked, "Hey Selena wanna come have lunch with us?"
Selena: No thanks maybe next time
Then she just walked away
"Ugh I forgot Selena can be snobbish even to her own friends" Brianna said sounding pissed
Akari: I KNOW RIGHT tell me about it Bri 🙄✋
Aiden: uh..does she even consider us friends?
Jake: Of course she does! She just has a different way of showing it... heh
Aiden: Ya know sometimes I feel like u defend her too much
Jake: I- I DO NOT! Akari tell him I don't!
Akari: Yeah I have to agree with Aiden here Jake, your always defending her and for what?
Jake: Wow my own best friend doesn't even side with me anymore
Brianna: Admit it! Your just defending that little salty brat because you like her! 😏
"SHUT UP BRI NO ONE ASKED YOU" Jake screamed while blushing
While Jake and Brianna were bickering, I saw Emilie come around the corner to get stuff from her locker. Then I called out to her.
Akari: Hey Emmi! Wanna go get lunch with us?
Emilie: Oh! Hi guys! I would but I'm going to get lunch with Selena. I'll see you all at practice tho!
Akari: Oh okay! Have fun!
Emilie: Thanks you too!
Selena: Emmi are you almost done? We don't have all day.
Emilie: Oh yeah! Coming Sel! ☺️
Well I guess they're going off on their own. Would have been nice to have them here but it's fine.
Brianna: Wait! I forgot about Ryan. I'm gonna go get him and We'll just meet you guys at the food court.
Aiden: Ok just make it back in time to eat
"Got it!" Brianna said while running off to find Ryan
Jake: Oh by the way Aiden where's Martin? I would also invite Levi but.. you know
Jake said while gesturing at me
Aiden: Oh Martin is just at a student council meeting. Don't worry about him and yeah I know about Levi already.
Akari: Ok well let's go! Also Jake about what happened in the gym yesterday...WHAT IN YOUR RIGHT GOD DAMN MIND DECIDED THAT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO GET SELENA?! YOU KNOW SHE WOULDN'T DO JACK SHIT TO HELP THE SITUATION
Jake: I DIDN'T SHE JUST HAPPENED TO BE THERE WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR AIDEN AND RYAN. MARTIN WAS ALSO CONVENIENTLY THERE AND THEY BOTH DECIDED TO TAG ALONG!
