Associations between Death Eaters

So, apparently, Tom had decided it wasn't too early to get a Death Eater seating chart ready.

He had already bought a beautiful, black cherry wood table glazed in black onyx. It spanned the length of the Grand Dining Hall and its legs were covered in intricate designs, most centered around snakes. Gothic high-backed mahogany chairs with green velvet seat cushions lined the table itself and at its head was a literal claw-footed throne. It was black and silver and was so grandiose that one simply could not ignore it.

Harry's idea, not Tom's. Tom had originally thought that he should float a snake pit above the chair but Harry had instantly disagreed, knowing it would only serve to make the Dark Lord look very silly.

Tom had "allowed" Harry to pick his own chair (more like Harry pressured him into doing so) and he decided on a far more comfortable one than Tom had. Far less ostentatious, too.

That day, Harry had been polishing his chess set, waiting for the customary thud of Tom coming down the stairs. He had waited. Nothing.

Finally, after the Castle having been silent for just a tad bit too long, Harry (being very suspicious) had crept up the stairs and burst into Tom's study.

Now...well, now...

"But we can't put Auntie Bella next to Dolohov! You don't know how much those two hated each other in Azkaban! She would become spitting mad should the man so much as sneeze!"

"Yes, but if we don't put Antonin there, he'll have to sit next to Barty and I hope you know how chatty those two get when they're placed near each other! I once made the mistake of putting Lucius in between Antonin and Barty; they literally talked over Lucius's head and behind him and he looked so incredibly put out."

They were poring over a seating chart Tom was attempting to make for his Elite Death Eaters.

So far, Tom's chair was at the head with Harry's chair just a bit behind and to the right. Both were at the head of the long table, facing the double doors.
