"You don't look happy to see me" Dre laughed, wrapping his arm around my shoulder and walking with me out of the restroom hall into the food court.

"I'm just surprised" I said "I mean I haven't seen you since what, 8th grade?"

"Yeah I moved down to Miami but im back now" He said smiling at me, biting his lip at me

"Oh okay, well bye" I said, walking away

"Wait so that's it?" He called after me

"If it's meant to be then I'll see you later" I said, turning around and smirking at him

I walked back to the table and saw Briana typing away on her phone.

"Dang it sure did take you a long time" She said in a joking tone, but I could hear some seriousness behind it

"Yeah sorry I ran into an old friend on the way back" I said, thinking about Dre.

Gosh he was so cute, and those braces. And his hair, I always loved his hair.

Wait, what about Ray tho? I haven't heard from him since he left to go back to Cali a week ago. I haven't texted him since I was last person to text and Yn does not double text niggas.

"Are you ready to go to Footlocker now?" I asked Briana, closing my container and putting it back in the bag. I had 5 wings left so ill just finish going in at home.

"Yeah sure" Briana said, gathering her trash and throwing it away on the way out of the food court

•Foot Locker• (in the mall still)

"So what shoes do you want?" Briana asked me as we walked in the store.

"Hmm i kinda want some Kobe's or -"

"Hey welcome to Footlocker do yall need any help?" A deep voice said from behind us

I turned around and saw those eyes for the second time today.

"Dre" I said, smiling at him forreal this time

"Well Yn I think this is sign so you should follow it and give me your number" Dre smirked at me, stepping forward

••At Home••

"So that was Dani's first love?" Briana asked me when we were walking in the house

"Yup" I said, setting my bags down at the bottom of the stairs

"Damn girl he's fine as hell, did he text you yet?" Briana asked me, sitting down at the kitchen island

"Did who text you yet?" Dani appeared, looking at us

"This boy I saw at the mall whose name is 'Mind Ya Damn Business' " I saud, rolling my eyes at her as I put my wings in the microwave for a few seconds.

"Dang is that just his first name or is that his last name too"

"Fúck you" I said coldly, taking my wings out of the microwave

"Sorry Hun im a virgin"

"Yeah 6 years ago" Briana said, grabbing her Cinnabon and walking upstairs

"At least I don't have anything" Dani yelled after her, storming into the other room

"Are you sure about that?" I asked, making my way towards the steps "Im starting to see a few bumps on your mouth"

•• 3 hours later••

Wow Dre still hasn't texted me and that was like 4 hours ago. Im so done with boys I might just turn gay. I can't let Briana find out about my plan or she might take me up on that offer.

I sighed as I scrolled down my timeline on Twitter, retweeting a funny tweet occasionally.

I finally gave up waiting on Dre to text me and decided to call it a night even though it was only 10pm.

I rolled over and closed my eyes for a few minutes until my phone vibrated next to my pillow, waking me up.

"Ugh Maya please tell me you didn't wake me up because of a stupid reason" I mumbled, grabbing my phone and looking at who texted me

"Oh my god" I muttered, quickly unlocking my phone and viewing the message. It read:

"Hey beautiful, sorry for the late reply I didn't get off of work until about a hour and a half ago and I grabbed me something to eat on the way home. Don't be mad at me, I wanted to text you while at work but boss was tripping 😪"

I smiled at the text and opened it, not caring that I didn't wait as long as it took for him to text me back for me to reply back to him. My message said:

"Hey Dre, you were always a sap 😭. I was just about to go to sleep but I'll call you when I wake up and we can go somewhere tomorrow if you want. Goodnight big head 😘"

I smiled as I locked my phone and drifted off to dreams filled with Ray and Dre.
