Two years ago, Taylor Harkey and Luke Hemmings's relationship crumbled. Taylor was offered a job, making her move from Los Angeles to Orlando. They simply stopped talking. Then Taylor found out she was pregnant.... but she never told Luke. Two years...
"Carter, time to wake up buddy" I cooed softly, gently shaking my four-year-old, "We got to get up. You have your first day of school today!"
Carter simply whined and rolled away from me. I knew today was going to be hard. I mean, hell, last night he had a thirty minute tantrum about not wanting to go to school.
"Buddy, I know you don't want to go. I know you're scared" I sighed, "But you have to go Carter"
He rolled back over to face me and rubbed his eyes,
"You and Mommy come?" his bottom lip pouted out,
"Me and Mommy will take you and pick you up. We can't stay there today" I told him. He nodded and sat up, reaching his arms out. I pulled him into my lap and hugged his little body,
"Should we go eat breakfast? I think Mommy made you pancakes"
Carter nodded and I stood with him in my arms, carrying him downstairs and setting him in his chair where Petunia was already camped out, waiting for food to drop.
"Good morning baby boy" Taylor smiled, kissing his head, "I'm gonna make your lunch. What do you want?"
"Turkey sandwich, juice box, applesauce, and PUDDING" Carter yelled that last part,
"I probably could have guessed that" Taylor chuckled as I wrapped my arms around her, kissing her cheek.

Once Carter had eaten, I took him upstairs to get him dressed and brush his teeth. We had to pick out a 'super cool outfit' after we brushed teeth, then headed downstairs to take pictures. He refused to look at the camera but we got a decent one that actually looks cute,

"Ready to go?" Taylor tossed me the keys. I caught them and guided Carter out and helped him into his carseat. He sat there and clutched his bear, which wore little blue pajamas, he chose to bring. The preschool tells the kids to bring a stuffed animal.
