Something soft touched her cheek. Her eyelids opened a little. From the corner of her eye, Diana leaned over her face. Pink lips landed on her cheek. Her ear was tickled with a greeting, "Get up, sleepyhead. You've slept through your own alarm."

Akko yawned and rubbed her eyes. "Sowwy..." She spread her arms and pulled Diana to her. Still drowsy, she aimed for Diana's lips, but kissed her chin instead. She tried again and again, planting quick kisses on her cheeks and nose. Finally, her aim was true and Akko nibbled on soft, pink lips. She loved waking up to Diana's kisses. "Mmmm."

Diana giggled. "You silly... Wake up."

"Five... more minutes..." mumbled Akko between kisses.

"I already let you sleep longer than that." Diana pushed up, dragging her along.

Akko hugged her and leaned on her shoulder. "Hmmm... you can be my pillow."

Graceful fingers ran through her hair. "But if you sleep, who will see the sunrise with me?"

Akko yawned once more. "Ok... ok..." Slowly, she dragged herself out of bed and walked to the toilet to refresh herself. Diana had already changed out of her pajamas and was brushing her hair. After splashing her face with cold water, her drowsiness left and she hurriedly got ready. On the way out, she got her broom.

"Now I understand," said Diana as she regarded the broom.

"Ehehe... Shall we?" Akko offered her arm which Diana took, smiling.

They walked out of the hotel through a rear entrance. Akko mounted the broom then Diana sat on her lap with her arms around her shoulders. Slowly, they rose until they could see a good view of the town. Akko pointed the broom to the east.

"This is a great idea," said Diana as she kissed her cheek.

Akko kissed her cheek before capturing her lips. They shared kiss after kiss. She wouldn't mind doing this with Diana everyday. In fact, she wouldn't mind doing it forever. An idea formed in her mind. As her idea took shape, the soft rays of the rising sun caught their attention. Rays of light illuminated the town, pushing away the shroud of night.

Diana leaned her head on hers, and Akko inhaled her enticing scent. They watched the sun until it was too bright then Akko took the magicam from her pocket to take a picture with the sun behind them. With her wand, she moved the magicam to take pictures from different angles. Once satisfied, Akko guided the broom to the hotel's flat roof and landed. After they got off the broom, Akko turned around and plucked a strand of hair. With a quick spell, she wove it into a ring. It was now or never. Kneeling with one knee as she faced Diana, she said, "Diana, I love you very much and even though this is all I can do for now, I'm really serious about it. Lady Diana Cavendish of Wedinburgh, will you marry me?"

For several seconds, Diana just stood there with her mouth open. Akko tried to give her best puppy dog eyes. "Please?"

Diana's lips opened and closed before she stuttered, "I... uh... are you... wait..." She cleared her throat and held her forearms as if she were holding herself back. "Please... please tell me... that you're not doing this just so you wouldn't have to tell your parents that we're not really engaged?"

Words tumbled out of her mouth. "I'm sorry! I screwed up and misunderstood, but if you asked me to marry you back then, I would've said yes, and I'd say yes now, and I'll say yes later! So please, will you marry me?" When Diana didn't respond quick enough, she continued, "We don't have to do the wedding soon. I'll wait until you're ready. I'll wait as..."
