"Okay, everyone's got what they need?" Mom asked as we all stood outside the house.
Today all of us are going on a little trip to the water park. We haven't gone on a small trip in a while so that's what we're doing. Connor's coming with us to so that he can spend time with Hazel and I. Miley is also coming because she's practically already in the family.
Michael's friends Tyler and Logan are coming too because they are all a bunch of man children who would never pass up the opportunity to go to the waterpark. I've known them for a while and they're nice guys. They usually make flirtatious comments towards me but it's just to make Michael mad and I find it hilarious. I don't know how Connor will handle them but hopefully nobody ends up with a black eye.
"Yep." we all replied to my mom. She always did this whenever we went on trips. She'd make sure we don't forget anything and then recheck like 10 times before we actually leave the property.
"Do you have Hazels stuff?" she asked me. I nodded and motioned to my bag.
The waterpark is pretty big and there's an entire area that's just for babies and toddlers so that's probably where I'll be the entire time with Hazel and Miley.
"Okay. I think we've got everything. Michael! Stop putting Tyler in a choke hold!" my mom scolded my brother. I looked over and saw Michael, Tyler, and Logan messing around.
Miley had an annoyed expression as she stood next to me. "And they're supposed to be his groomsmen?" she whispered to me and I chuckled.
We heard the front door of the house open and saw Connor walk out with Hazel who was now changed into a swim suit. She was giggling whilst he held her hand and she walked on her own.
Ever since she started walking she's been running around the house like crazy. Whenever we'd go over to Connor's house she'd go running around in the backyard with Sammy. He got Hazel a little kiddy pool to have and she loves it. Her and Sammy will play in it while I sit outside in a beach chair. It's adorable how much she loves that dog, they're like bestfriends now.
"Mama, go swim!" Hazel jumped and put her arm that wasn't holding Connor's hand up in the air making me laugh.
"Yep. We're going to the waterpark." I lifted her up onto my hip and Connor kissed my cheek.
"Okay, who's riding with who?" Jackson asked.
"Well I was thinking the boys and girls could ride separately." Miley said.
"You just don't want to be in a car alone with those three." I smirked and looked over at Michael, Tyler, and Logan.
Michael scoffed. "Why not babe? We're fun."
Miley gave him an annoyed look. "Your idea of fun is putting each other in choke holds at 29 years old."
"Okay, okay. How about Miley and mom ride with Connor, Hazel, and I while the boys ride in Jacksons car." I suggested.
"Wait, can Connor come with us?" Michael asked.
"You really want to take my boyfriend from me?" I quirked an eyebrow.
"Yeah! It can be like bro bonding time." Tyler said. I shook my head with a laugh.
"Please never say that again." I looked up at Connor with a questioning look.
"Yeah, I'll ride with them." he shrugged. The four other men cheered making me roll my eyes.
I leaned up and kissed him on the lips. Hazel covered her eyes making us both laugh.
"I'll see you when we get there." I kissed his cheek before turning towards the truck. I looked down at Hazel who was looking at Connor.
"Bye bye dada!" she waved as I walked towards my Tacoma. Connor laughed and blew her a kiss. I smiled when she pretended to catch it.
