"I'll have a piña colada fro-yo." I told a lady at the counter.

"And I'll just have a strawberry fro-yo." Jasmine smiled. The lady nodded and began to fix out Fro-Yo's. I led Jasmine to a seat and we sat down. I drummed my fingers against the table. If anything, this didn't feel like Valentine's Day.

"Since when do you like piña colada?" Jasmine asked suddenly.

I shrugged. "Since now."

She chuckled. "You ordered it just because it looked cool in th picture, didn't you?"

"Yep." I smiled. It seems like Jasmine was getting to know me better. The piña colada did look delicious and that was why I ordered it. Besides, I like pineapples.

Suddenly the parlor's bell jingled, indicating someone had just walked in. Instictively, I turned my head towards the door. I froze, my heart pounding in my chest. It was Lila...and Darren. I haven't talked to Lila since the accident in the theater room and I sure didn't want to talk to her now.

"Justin?" I felt Jasmine's hand tugging at mine. I turned back to her, pulling up my hoodie to hide myself from Lila or Darren's view.

"Are you ok?" Jasmine asked. "You look nervous."

"I'm fine." I told her, tapping my feet to some random rhythm on the floor. When are they going to bring the Fro-Yo's? Gosh, I wish this thing has a drive thru.

"You sure you're ok?" Jasmine asked again. I nodded, my eyes locked on the table. Oh please, don't let Lila see me. I secretly thought of plan to ditch the Fro-Yo's and run off with Jasmine. Sadly, the waitress walked by, slipping our order on our table as she passed.

"Enjoy." She chirped.

I cursed under my breath. So much the plan.

"A chocolate Fro-Yo for me." Darren told the lady at the counter who seemed to be in her late teens. She smiled at him.

"Chocolate's my favorite." She flirted as she tucked a piece of blonde hair behind her ears.

"Uh, good to know." Darren said akwardly. Blondie unbuttoned the top of her uniform as she typed in Darren's order. I chuckled. Why didn't it annoy me to see other girls flirting with Darren? I shrugged it off.

"I'll have plain old vanilla." I ordered.

"Mhm." Was Blondie's response. "Your order will be ready in a few." She fluttered her eyelashes at Darren. Darren let out a fake cough and led me over to a table.

"She seemed nice." I laughed.

Darren blushed. "Nice as in slutty?"

I frowned. "She wasn't being slutty..."

Darren threw back his head and laughed. "Sure she wasn't." I rolled my eyes and snuck a peek at the couple sitting beside us. They seemed tense. Suddenly I recognized the girl. Jasmine. Justin's so-called girlfriend. That could only mean one thing.... My eyes focused on the boy who's hoodie covered most of his face. His dirty blonde hair poked out along with his caramel, brown eyes. Justin. I watched them for a second. Jasmine sunk her spoon into her Fro-Yo before standing up, muttering something to Justin, and then disappearing towards where I guessed the bathroom's were. Justin stared blankly into his own frozen yogurt, swirling his spoon aroud it. I looked over at Darren who was enjoying every minute of his which the waitress must have just brung.

"Is it good?" I asked, an eyebrow raised.

Darren nodded, shoving a spoonful into mouth. "Delicious."

I looked down at mine, debating whether I should eat it now or wait till later. Suddenly Darren stood up.

"I'm be right back. Gotta go use the restroom." He flashed me a fro-yo smile before disappearing the same way Jasmine had not long ago. I looked over at Justin who's position hadn't changed much. I let out a sigh before standing up and slowly walking over to him.

"Hey." I said, chewing on my bottom lip.

Justin looked up. "Oh hey."

I frowned and took Jasmine's seat. "Where have you been? And how are you feeling?"

Justin shrugged, digging his spoon into his frozen yogurt. "I've been fine. Been at my hotel, bored."

I no longer knew what to say. "Oh." I bit my lip. "Happy Valentine's Day."

Justin didn't respond. After a while, he sighed. "I give up. Why aren't you begging me for an explanation? Why aren't you mad at me?"

I knitted my eyebrows together. "What are you talking about?"

"I spilled coke all over your boyfriend." Justin murmured.

I don't know why, but I laughed. "That was two days ago! And yes, I wanted an explanation then, not now. And why would I be mad?"

He shrugged again. I noticed his frozen yogurt was no longer...frozen.

"Why did you do it?" I asked anyways.

He stabbed his yogurt with his spoon and I cringed. "I don't know."

Suddenly I felt a shadow fall over me. I let out a sigh and slipped out of the chair. I already knew who it was without looking up. Jasmine glared at me as I took my own seat at my own table. Darren appeared again, taking his seat across from me.

"Your Fro-Yo's melting." He said, staring at my big, white lump. It didn't look like Justin's though which was now completely liquid.

"Yep." I responded, pushing it aside. "I'm no longer hungry."

I heard Justin's chair slide across the floor. I turned to see him standing up along with Jasmine. I noticed him peek at me through the corner of his lashes and then turn back to Jasmine. He wrapped an arm around her waist and crushed his lips to hers, taking her by surprise. It surprised me too. I looked down, picking up a plastic spoon and digging it into my white lump. My chest felt heavy all of the sudden. Had Justin just kissed Jasmine? I think my eyes were playing tricks on me. Nope. I'm pretty sure they weren't. I looked over at Darren, observing the movement of his lips as he shoved his last spoon of Fro-Yo into his mouth.

"What?" He asked, his mouth full. I glanced back at Justin who had his arm draped around Jasmine as she said something to him. But his eyes were looking over here. I looked at Darren...the at Justin...then back at Darren. I don't know why I did what I did next. I just did it. I leaned over the table, knocking down my cup of Fro-Yo, and grabbing Darren's shirt. His eyes widened as my I pulled my lips to his. Then I was kissing him...and he was kissing me back. I could feel Justin's eyes on us. Darren's lips were coated in chocolate fro-yo which made the kiss delicious. But there was no spark. Non what's-so-ever. Not even the slightest bit of butterflies in my stomach. It was plain. I heard the door's bell jingle again and when I pulled away from Darren, Justin and Jasmine were no where in sight.

Darren was breathing his hard, his face some-what surprised. "That was unexpected. I thought you weren't ready."

I wiped my lips with the back of my hand. "I wasn't." Darren looked kind of hurt but he didn't say anything. He reached for my white lump and began to shove spoonfuls of it into his mouth, barely looking at me. I sighed. I'm scewing everything up.

I pulled Jasmine threw the crowded streets, stopping for autographs here and there. What had just happened? I'd kissed Jasmine again. In front of Lila this time. Why? I haven't figured that out yet. I felt to stupid. But the Lila had kissed Darren. From what I could see, there's definitely something between them. I still can't figure out why I'm feeling this way. I though of the song which I'd begun to write. I'm pretty sure that explained everything. I couldn't wait to go to Cali tomorrow. I was eager to leave New York. Eager to leave and forget Lila once and for all. But my heart thought otherwise.
