So I know I said I would upload this yesterday but I fell asleep at my desk half way through the chapter so I didn't get a chance. Sorry :/

Chapter Nine

Rohanna's POV

            Genny wastes no time in marching over to me, closing the distance and giving me a little swat upside the head.

            "Ouch" I cry, rubbing the spot she hit rather hard.

            "Don't you ouch me young lady" Genny snaps, grabbing my arm and hauling me over to the car where Maggie is waiting, arms crossed, a glare plastered to her face.

            "Care to explain why you left Josiah's party without telling anyone?" Genny hisses, standing beside Maggie with her arms crossed also.

            Genny and Maggie have been protective over me since Blayden, well since the beginning of time, which would be before Blayden but they've gotten worst since him.

They think I'm helpless and can't look after myself. So much so they signed me up for Tiquendo classes to learn self defence, just in case I'm in trouble and they're not around.

            I should've expected this, Genny and Maggie freaked out when I left one of Josiah's parties with Blayden and never came back, or cared enough to tell them I left. I can't seem too figured out why I forgot to tell them the other night though, maybe because I was distracted by the karaoke and the hockey tickets.

            "Well, I, Um, entered a karaoke contest with Kinsley, and I kinda got distracted" I tell them sheepishly.

            Genny and Maggie's faces soften, although I can tell they're still mad.

            "Sorry Anna, I- we, just worry about you" Maggie scribbles on her dry erase board.

            "I know you guys do and I love you for that, but you're not my body guards, I can look after myself"

            Maggie and Genny nod, then Genny starts laughing.

            "Did you win?" Genny giggles.

            I nod my head, a proud smile on my face, "We sure did"

            Maggie cocks her head to the side and scribbles something down on her dry erase board.

            I didn't know you could sing?

            "I can't, Kinsley can though, I just played the guitar" I lie smoothly.
