You wake up very slowly, and begin to grow aware of your surroundings. You start to think about taking a shower, but when you try to get up, you realize that a girl is laying on you.

Niki. You smile and lay back down, when she starts to move in your arms.  It gives her a few minutes for her to fully wake up, but when she does, she looks up at you, and her face turns bright red as she smiles softly. Her embarrassment causes you to laugh lightly.

"I'm going to take a shower, unless you want to, then by all means you-" You stop when you hear her speak the words,

  "Darling, it's ok, go ahead."

You smile at this, say thank you, and take a shower. Once you get out and get dressed, you walk back into your room, where you see Niki ready for the day. You both smile to each other as you sit next to the blonde.

You look at Niki, then back to your phone. She nods. The way she can read your thoughts is amazing. You pick your phone up, and play, "❤︎My HoneyComb❤︎" on Spotify. You lay down next to Niki.

𝙸 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕 𝚜𝚘 𝚌𝚕𝚘𝚜𝚎.

You put your hands on your chest.

𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚕, 𝚖𝚊𝚢𝚋𝚎 𝙸'𝚖 𝚗𝚘𝚝, 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠𝚜.

You close your eyes.

𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚊 𝚜𝚙𝚘𝚝𝚕𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚌𝚔 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚌𝚎𝚒𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐.

You feel her shift her to look at you.

𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙸'𝚖 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕𝚒𝚗𝚐?

You hear her arm lift up from the bed.

𝚃𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎'𝚜 𝚜𝚘 𝚖𝚞𝚌𝚑 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎.

Her hand meets yours.

𝙵𝚘𝚛 𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚔 𝚞𝚙, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝙸 𝚔𝚎𝚎𝚙 𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚎𝚝.

You're gently pulled from your position.

You open your eyes.

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚛 𝚒𝚜 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸 𝚌𝚊𝚗'𝚝 𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚊𝚗 𝚘𝚗.

She puts you in a sitting position.

𝚂𝚘 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝙸 𝚌𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚘𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝?

"Where's your eyeliner?" She asks.

𝙸'𝚖 𝚝𝚛𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚞𝚙 𝚖𝚢 𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚍.

"In the top drawer, in my dresser."

𝙹𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚑𝚘𝚠 𝙸 𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚕.

She opens the drawer, getting the felt eyeliner out.

𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚖𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕?

She walks over to you.

𝙸 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚟𝚘𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚑𝚘𝚗𝚎.

Niki looks at you, tilts her head, you nod.

𝙽𝚘𝚠 𝙸'𝚖 𝚗𝚘 𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚛 𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚎.

She sits on your lap, and begins to do your eyeliner.

𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚖𝚎 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕 𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎?

You're careful not to blink, but not for the reason of smudging your eyeliner.

'𝙲𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝙸 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍𝚗'𝚝 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠.

The music is drowned out by your thoughts that are somewhere along the lines of, "What did I do to deserve her?" Or, "I'm the luckiest woman in the world." But one thought stood out among the others.

"I swear she's an angel."
