Yeshiva POV

I packed everything as quick as possible. I had Nya dressed in her pink sweats. It was kind of chilly outside, and I didn't want her to be cold. I put her hair in a puff on top of her head because i was trying to work quickly.

As she sat on the bed, I threw on some sweats and out my hair in a messy ponytail. I grabbed her and our big bag full of clothes and ran to the car. I put her in her car seat and buckled her up. I put the bag in the trunk and hopped in the car.

I had an hour to be at the airport, which was thirty five minutes away. I took the freeway and luckily, there was no traffic. I was glad as I drove all the way to the other side of town to get to it. Things were going to be better for me and Nya, I just knew it.

I parked in the parking lot of the airport and grabbed Nya and our things. I fast walked in and quickly paid for a plane ticket for the closest flight to New York City. I went through luggage check and baggage claim and sat down. Nya was wide awake and in her "Playful baby" stage.

"Momma the ducky go quack quack! The cow go moo!" she cheered.

"Hahaha!" I laughed at her cuteness, which only made her look at me in confusion.

"You're so cute." I said as I kissed her chubby cheek.

"Yay! Momma say I'm cute!" she cheered.

"Yes. Now, you hungry? We leaving in a little bit, and we can't eat on the plane." I said.

"I want womeen noodow!" she shouted.

"Okay baby. Momma gonna get you some roman noodles." I said.

I rolled my luggage with my to a nearby restaurant and ordered Nya some noodles and a juice. I ordered me some egg rolls and a soda.

"Yay! Noodow!" Nya screamed as she clapped her hands.

"Shhh." I said as people stared.

"I wanna watch cartoon.", Nya said once we got our food and went back to where we were waiting.

"Okay. Momma gonna feed you yo noodles, then we watch cartoons. How about that?" I asked.

"Yes." she said.

I fed Nya and then we watched Cartoons. I let her use the bathroom, then I ate my egg roll and drank my soda. I used the bathroom and they called for  us to get on the plane.

As soon as we boarded, I got the feeling that things were about to change for the better. Maybe my life would go right. Maybe I could provide more for Nya in this transition. Maybe, just maybe.

The airplane was bigger than I thought it would be. I had never been on an airplane before, but now that I was on one, I was kind of nervous. As the plane took off, Nya fell asleep in her seat and snored softly. In five to sixe hours, I'd be in New York and I would be at the airport to be picked up by my new roommates.
