Jealousy

A/N: I don't hate Chiyo at ALL. She is actually one of my favourite/comfort characters. Don't take this story the wrong way

The whole gang was walking home this time. By the whole gang, I mean Saiki, Nendou, Aren, Kaidou, Chiyo, and Teruhashi.

Kaidou and Aren were walking behind everyone, just talking about unimportant stuff.

"Oh, this is my house!"
Kaidou said, completely changing the subject.

Aren finally took notice of his surroundings, and hummed.

"Well then, see you tomorrow!"
Aren gleed, while giving his crush a toothy smile.

Kaidou waved, and ran towards his house, leaving Aren with the rest.

Aren continued to walk, and joined in with the others conversations every now and then.

As he was walking, chiyo slowed down and started to walk along side of him.

"Hey Kuboyasu~!"
She said in her average, high pitched voice.

Aren was a little surprised that Chiyo was talking to him. It's not like that, it's just they didn't really..get along. Aren knew about Chiyo's crush on Kaidou, and him, also liking kaidou, didn't like that. At all. They didn't argue or anything, but they'd give hints of not liking eachother.

"Oh. Sup."
Aren said kind of awkwardly.

"Sooo, I have a question!"
She exclaimed, while smiling a little awkwardly. You could tell she was tense, or nervous.

Aren hummed, instead of responding.

"What's your relationship with kaidou?"
Chiyo asked.

Aren wasn't surprised that was the question honestly.

"Friends. Not for long though."
Aren hummed. He smiled at Chiyo, but it was more of a glare.

Chiyo scoffed a little, but then quickly smiled back.

"Is that so?"
She asked

Aren hummed.

"And what about you?"
Aren suddenly asked.

Chiyo flinched, and got flustered.

"U-Um..Friends! That's all..sadly."
She whispered the last part, but Aren heard.

"Sadly, huh."
He said coolly, but he was filling with rage.

Chiyo mentally panicked. She didn't need or want Aren to hear that!

"N-No, I was hoping maybe we'd be um..Best friends!"

She mentally congratulated herself for coming up with a good excuse, also feeling a bit more confident.

"Yeah."
Is all Aren could really say.

A/N: This is really short, I'm sorry!! It's not really much, but I felt like I really needed to post something. I'll try my best to finish the double date chapter, asap. 🐸❤️
