Its okay to not be okay

Kaidou was currently hiding in the bathroom stall, having the 6th mental breakdown this week.

Why? There were a lot of reasons why. But the current reason is anxiety. He got embarrassed like he normally does, and everyone laughed at him. Making him run out of the classroom.

His mind was flooded with thoughts. The worst kind of thoughts.

Why am I so useless?

How pathetic of me. Why am I crying?

Why can't I do anything right?

Those type of thoughts. He was basically scolding himself for being too 'weak' or 'sensitive'

While he was crying, he heard a voice call out his name.

"Shun? Are you in here?"

Kaidou recognized the voice instantly. It was Aren's voice.

"Aren?"
His voice cracked.

No! He can't see my crying, that will make me seem weak! Strong people don't cry..

Kaidou wiped his tears, but it didn't help. His cheeks were still a little flustered, and his eyes were puffy. You could also see tear stains.

"Thank god, I finally found you."
Aren said behind the stall.

Kaidou smiled weakly, and opened the stall.

To Aren, it was clear he was crying. Which made him concerned, of course.

"You were crying, weren't you?"

Kaidou immediately shook his head.

"N-No way! What makes you think that?"
Kaidou laughed nervously.

Aren felt bad. Really bad.

"Kaidou, it's obvious ."

Kaidou felt more tears fill in his eyes, and he quickly wiped them.

"I was not.."
He muttered angrily.

Aren sighed, and unexpectedly pulled kaidou into a hug.

Kaidou could've sworn his heart skipped a beat for a second.

Aren pressed kaidou's head gently on his chest, and respectfully put his hand around kaidou's back.

"It's not bad to cry, you know. Everyone does it"
Aren comforted.

D-Do others feel like this when their friend hugs them??

"Even I cry."
Aren laughed a little.

Kaidou hugged back, and rested his head on his chest.

Now it was Aren's turn to start questioning now he felt.

"Thank you Aren.."
Kaidou mumbled.

Aren blushed, but smiled.

"No problem."

(This was short, but sweet)
