All I will say before beginning this chapter is that Kharisma is a legally grown, young woman who does respect her parents and their home. 🥲 I hope y'all enjoy.

"Why I ain't seen you in damn near two days," Caesar questioned calmly, walking into Kharisma's room just as she was getting out the shower with a fluffy black towel wrapped around her body. Nobody was home so that's the only reason he was so comfortable with just coming into the bedroom, never wanting to be blatantly disrespectful to Victoria and Kareem.

"I been busy," she mumbled before giving him a quick kiss on the lips and retreating to her walk in closet to get dressed for the day ahead.

"You been too busy to even FaceTime ya man before you go to sleep at night," Caesar questioned with squinted eyes as he followed closely behind her, already knowing that what Kharisma was saying was bull.

Letting out a deep sigh, Ceez took off the yellow hoodie he wore and sat on the nice-sized couch placed in the middle of Riz's closet, allowing his legs to relax open and slightly swing back and forth. His gaze remained trained on Riz, watching in admiration of how she moisturized her body with her favorite scent from Bath & Bodyworks— A Thousand Wishes.

Since their seemingly progressive conversation at she and Kaine's birthday, Kharisma had been on an emotional rollercoaster around Caesar and truly didn't know what to do. He had already gone through the process of accepting his invitation to play over seas and would be leaving shortly after the new year so time was winding down.

As much as she was trying to shake the feelings of sadness and anxiousness, her efforts weren't successful at all. Sure, the couple had been long distance for the past three years of being in college, but the pandemic allowed them to get comfortable seeing each other with ease so the shift from being in the same state to being in two different countries was intense and it hadn't even happened yet.

"I been wanting to be alone, Ceez," Kharisma spoke again, barely audible, while rummaging through her drawers. After about a minute, she had gathered undergarments, black leggings, one of Caesar's school hoodies, and socks to lounge around the house in. Riz had recently been urged to watch all the Marvel movies so that's what she was planning to do after cooking a nice breakfast.

"You can't be alone wit me," Caesar threw out another question, grabbing Kharisma by the waist as she attempted to walk past and pulling her into his lap sideways.

Riz wasn't willing to look Caesar in the face as he held her body close to his own, but even while running his nose up her neck and placing butterfly kisses on it, Ceez could see that she was pouting with her face frowned up.

This fuckin' girl. Caesar thought, shaking his head and relaxing further into the couch, still holding on to his girlfriend but then rubbing small circles into her thigh.

"That's not alone if I'm with you."

"Well das too bad, love. Cus I'm here now. What's wrong with you? And you better not say 'nothing'," he replied with a sly smirk, mocking his girlfriend's sad tone of voice at the end and she rolled her eyes.

"I'm good, Caesar-"

"Aye Alani, quit fuckin' lying to me," he interrupted in a more firm tone, finding it difficult to mask his irritation at that statement. Caesar had truly always been a laid back dude who didn't find it necessary to get too hype unless a situation called for it like playing basketball or somebody messing with the few people he was close to.
