3rd person POV

You woke up the next morning you slept kind of late you could hear voices in the breakfast room.

Y/N: Huh, guess everyone is ah-ah-AH CHOOO-

You sneezed all the way out of your room and straight into the breakfast room everyone was looking at you.

Beifong: Was their fire in that sneeze?

Y/N: Uh, maybe?

Korra kind of chuckled.

Y/N: Nice to see you're awake.

She came over and hugged you.

Y/N: Uh, what is this for?

Korra: For finding me thank you.

Y/N: Oh, anytime Korra, no big deal.

You all finished up breakfast. Korra gave you all the scoop about Tarrlok Tenzin went into the city for a council meeting you were all just laying around the island you and Bolin could feel the awkwardness in the air between Korra, Mako, and Asami.

Bolin: Is it just me or-

Y/N: Nope I see it too.

Bolin: What should we do?

Y/N: Don't worry, they'll wash over it, don't worry.

Bolin: You think?

Y/N: Yeah, it'll just take time I think.

Then, you all hear explosions! You all run to the front of the island and see smoke coming from the city.

Beifong: The city is under attack!

Korra: Come on guys! Let's go!

Mako, Korra, Asami, and Bolin head down to the boat at the end of the island they realize you weren't behind them.

Korra: Where's Y/N?

Bolin: He said he was gonna stay, just in case something happens.

Korra: Ok come on!

They leave and you and Beifong and standing in the yard.

Beifong: I don't see as many airships as I thought.

Y/N: Well it wouldn't surprise me if they send one or two our way.

Beifong: What makes you say that?!

Y/N: Think about it, these are the last air benders Amon CLEARLY doesn't like benders I'd bet that he'll send men so he can get his hands on the kids.

Beifong: You might be right.

You and Beifong stand outside for another 10-20 minutes or so then, you both see 2 airships heading towards the island.

Beifong: You were right Y/N Pema, kids, get inside!

Pema then screams.

Pema: THE BABY'S COMING!

Meelo: Not now baby!

Pema and the kids go inside You and Lin get ready.

Beifong: You ready Y/N?

Y/N: Hell yeah! I've been waiting for this rematch.

Beifong: What do you mean?

Y/N: If he wants the air bending kids he's either coming himself, or he's sending the lieutenant.

Beifong: I see did you know any of this was coming?

Y/N: No i didn't hear much.

Beifong: I see.

Then, the chi blockers zip line down their ship, and onto the island Beifong takes on most of them you had 2 others you block their attacks, then kick them in the face, knocking them out Lieutenant was looking right at you as he electrocuted Lin.

Lieutenant: Been waiting to scrap your ass kid!

Y/N: Heh, bring it on!

He rushed at you, you go for a simple step to the foot, but he knew that was coming so you missed and slipped, giving him the perfect opportunity to electrocute you, but you block his arm, and jab him in the gut.

Lieutenant: Damn kid.

You go back and forth for a little bit you do your best to just block his hands and not his electric batons... Eventually, you punch him in the throat, and he gets knocked out.

Y/N: Heh, I guess payback IS a bitch.

Y/N's POV

I looked at the Lieutenant and grabbed his head and snapped his neck in the prosses i felt a strange feeling inside of me but i didn't know what it was Tenzin and the others then came back and when they landed i saw Tenzin had a concerned look on his face.

Tenzin: Are you both alright?

Beifong: We're fine.

Tenzin: Pema and the kids.

Y/N: Their fine.

Just then, you all hear a soft cry Tenzin runs to his room.

Y/N: You guys look like you got into a scrap yourselves.

Asami: Yeah, but nothing we couldn't handle.

Korra: Oh no.

You all look back and see more air ships coming back.

Y/N: That's not good...

Korra runs into the room that Tenzin was in and let him know.

(y/n): You sure you're alright chief?

Beifong: I'm fine... Thanks for kicking his ass for me.

Y/N: No problem.

She then smiled and kissed me on the lips, winked at me then began to walk away with a sway in her hips.

Timeskip

You wake up in a cool pool of water. You look up to see a very old water bender...


(y/n): W-where am I?

Katara: You're in the southern water tribe... How are you feeling?

(y/n): Agh... My chest still hurts a little.


You see Korra sitting in a chair next to you.


(y/n): Korra! Are you alright?


She just looked to the ground... You weren't sure what she was upset about... But then... You knew...


(y/n): Oh no...


She got up to leave... But you grabbed her arm.


Korra: Let me go (y/n)... I just want to be left alon-


You got up and hugged her... Her eyes went wide.


(y/n): I'll always be here for you... No matter what... You always have someone to talk to...

Korra: ...ok...


You both let go... And she walked out with Katara. You walk out with them. Mako then goes after Korra...


Asami: (y/n)! You're awake!-...


You then noticed Tenzin covered his kids eyes... You look to see you didn't have a shirt on, and a huge burn mark from being electrocuted...


(y/n): I'm just shirtless Tenzin.

Tenzin: It's the burn mark... Anyway, we're just happy you're safe.


The kids came up and hugged you.


Katara: I didn't know you were close to my son.

(y/n): Son?... Wait... YOU'RE THAT KATARA!

Katara: That's me.

(y/n): Wow... I-I don't know what to say... Thank you for healing me.

Katara: Not a problem young man... You're lucky to have even to have survived that.

(y/n): Yeah...


Asami then came up and hugged you.


Asami: I'm so relieved you're ok (y/n)!

(y/n): Thanks Asami...


You all walk outside to see... Korra... Bending ALL of the elements... And holding hands with Mako...


(y/n): Gee... Storybook ending much?


You were happy... Korra reached her spiritual level as the Avatar... But you couldn't help but be crushed that she... She was with him now... Mako... You liked Mako... He was like a brother... But you couldn't help but feel jealous... You looked to the sky... Knowing that you were apart of something that changed Republic City... But you knew... This chapter was over... But the story wasn't...
