👼 MY ANGEL 👼

The next day, Elsa was in her shop that she had opened in Serpens.

She was making sure everything was okay and that all the dresses were displayed in their proper places when she heard voices behind her. The voices were coming from the VIP room.

Ever since Elsa came back to life, she had spent two years establishing her own brand—Delancey.

She personally designed every piece of clothing, and because the designs were unique, they were very well received.

Her business boomed as a result, quickly becoming a household name internationally. She even had quite a few famous VIP customers.

That was why the person browsing the limited edition jewelled dresses in the VIP room could be considered a high-class member.

Her name was Lorna Callahan.

“I want this dress. It will go perfectly with the new shoes I got for the party at the Callahan co-operation. As Jeremy’s mother, I have to look my best,” Lorna said.

Lorna was very materialistic and the type of person you could buy love from, but her love for Jeremy was endless. That was why she was also thinking of getting him something from the shop to cheer him up.

“I’ll try this on, and then we’ll go to the men’s section. My son could use a gift to lift his spirits,” Lorna continued.

When Elsa heard that, she started laughing. So Jeremy was sad and needed to be cheered up. How pathetic.

Elsa knew about the party at the Callahan co-operation, and that was why she was now going to let Jeremy find her so she could go with him to the party.

She was going to use that party to get her revenge.

Thinking about Mrs. Callahan and everything she had done to her, Elsa’s eyes turned dark. Lorna would get what was coming to her.

After Lorna finished buying for herself and her son, she took out a card from her bag.

“I’ve been dying to meet the designer of these amazing clothes personally. Is Miss Delancey here? I would like to see her. Surely I should, since I am a VIP member,” Lorna said.

The worker already knew what to say when someone asked to meet Elsa. “I’m terribly sorry, madam, but my boss is not in at the moment. However, I am sure if she was here, she would meet you and express her gratitude in person.”

Lorna felt disappointed.

She handed the card to the worker. “This is an invitation to the annual party at the Callahan co-operation. It will be held next weekend. Please give this to her and tell her that I personally want her to come so we can meet then.”

The worker smiled and took the card. “I will make sure to give this to Miss Delancey the moment she arrives.”

As Lorna’s clothes were being put in bags for her, the worker gave Elsa the card. Elsa looked at it and smiled. She already knew who she would give this invitation to.

Elsa went to her office and quickly changed into normal, less fancy clothes. She then went outside and waited for Lorna at the entrance of her shop.

Lorna was walking proudly outside when she spotted someone standing a distance away from her. She wasn’t sure who she was at first, but when she turned around and faced her direction, Lorna knew she wasn’t mistaken.

Elsa pretended not to see her until Lorna was right in front of her in her personal space.

Lorna grabbed her hand and started shouting angrily. “Elsa Halverson! You evil woman!” she screamed in anger.

Elsa tried to get her hand away, but Lorna was not letting her go. “What do you want, Lorna?”

“You made my son suffer from insomnia thinking you were dead for two years, only for you to still be alive? How wicked can you be?”

Of course, to Lorna, that was Elsa’s fault. Who told her to die and cause her son to lack sleep? How wicked did Elsa become?

‘Insomnia? What insomnia?’ Elsa thought. He slept pretty peacefully the night Elsa was with him to be having that.

Elsa just looked at her blankly as Lorna scolded her. “And you came back only to leave him again? Are you trying to torture him even further?”

Elsa looked at Lorna with interest. “Lorna, did you forget that the person he loves is Victoria? How would me leaving him be torture for him?”

“I have no idea, but for some reason, you not being around is not good for him, so you are coming with me right now.”

Elsa burst out laughing in her face. This was funny.  “What in the world are you talking about? You made me laugh. Turns out you can be funny and make a joke.”

Lorna did not like the fact that Elsa saw this as a joke and grabbed her even tighter as she took her phone from her purse.

“Lorna, let me go. I have somewhere to be,” Elsa said after her laugh died down.

“I am not letting you out of my sight. Even if I have to handcuff you to me, I will.”

“Handcuff me? What makes you think I want to be handcuffed to you? I don’t want to be anywhere near you.”

Lorna rolled her eyes. “I don’t want you either, girly. But it seems like the only way my son won’t go crazy is if you are with him. And you are going to go back to him, do you understand?”

Elsa was finding this funny until that point. Lorna’s words and expressions made this situation stop being funny and look serious.

Lorna waited impatiently for Jeremy to pick up the phone. And the moment he did, Lorna said, “Jeremy, come to Delancey shop on Hilltop Street.”

“Why? Are you there and need me to pick up?” Elsa heard Jeremy’s voice through the phone.

“I’m with your wife,” Lorna simply stated.

“Elsa?” Jeremy asked with a raised voice.

“Yes. I have held her captive, making sure she doesn’t try to escape. And I am standing with her outside the shop, waiting for you to come and take her with you”

After that, she hung up the call, put the phone in her bag, and held Elsa very tightly with both hands.

“Let me go, Lorna. What the hell is wrong with you?”

“No. You are not going anywhere. You are standing here until Jeremy arrives.”

Mmh! Jeremy, that’s cute and all. But you haven’t even begun to suffer. There is still some blood you have to pay.
