I smile. "Thanks so much for taking care of Jasmyn."
Elisa hands back my daughter. "No problem. Somebody had to keep her safe while you were out."
Jack beams at her face. "She looks just like me."
I scoff and punch him lightly. I don't want to relive a dislocated finger and broken thumb.
"Okay, okay. She has your eye colour, but her hair, skin tone, and facial features look like mine."
I frown. "Fine. The next one will be like me."
He laughs. "Already planning ahead?"
I scrunch up my nose. "Duh. I can't just have one baby. They're too cute."
"You sure it's not me?"
I gulp. "Yes."
"It is? Why thank you."
I roll my eyes.
