@paintoutsidelines some people really think racism is rare or claim they "don't see colour." Systematic racism very much exists and casual racism has become so normalised in first world countries, if you call people out you're classed as a "snowflake" or "overreacting." I'm truly sorry you have to live with this, I really think it's time for the world to change.
@tranquillity__ I honestly can't wait to read more. Your book is a delight. And I absolutely get what you mean. Racism is everywhere and black people or any person of colour have alot of relatable struggles no matter where they are in the world. And I'm personally from Africa but racism is so visible. We are living the outcomes of this engineered system that wasn't built for us. And as much as people may think 'you' are in Africa where the majority is black, we are feeling the brunt of it. The non people of colour owns everything and we are the working class but also my people are fighting against different kinds of racism.
