"I have found that if you love life, life will love you back" -Arthur Rubinstein
I'm a sucker for quotes, so this too:
"The world is not in your books and maps. It's out there." -J.R.R Tolkien
Follow that advice, Wattpadders. Shut your books (as painful as that may be), power down your electronics (if that's more painful than shutting a hardback, you're doing something wrong), and go. Have an adventure, explore, approach everything with childlike curiosity - just find a way to love life so that it can return the favor.
For those of you looking for an explanation for the disappearance of Love for Goats, here it is in all its unabashed glory:
Firstly I'd like to thank you all for reading my story and being so patient in the spaces between updates (has it really been a year?). The thing is, I started writing Goats almost three years ago. Three years. A lot can - and always does - happen in that amount of time. I graduated high school, experienced two years of college, moved across the country...I did a lot of growing up.
You're probably wondering why I'm sharing this, so I'll get to the point. I feel disconnected from Love for Goats. The magic between Anya and Finn has began to leak and slip through my fingers and I'm not sure I'm inclined to catch it. For that reason, I'm taking it down from Wattpad. This isn't to say I won't post it again after I've tweaked it to my liking, but I don't like how it's existing in a disjointed state in the middle of cyberspace right now. I have a feeling it's quite lonely.
Anyways, just because one story is coming down doesn't mean another isn't going up - if you like what you've read of Goats, stick around. I like to think that I've got a couple more tricks up my sleeve. Also, a spider. There is a spider that just climbed up there. Excuse me while I go deal with this ensuing crisis.
Stay excellent. Or don't. It's up to you.
