i just want to say, ik you stopped updating your acotar/tog fanfic a few years ago, but gurl oml it is incredible. you have so much talent and now idk if i can read the other fanfics bc your writing is so freaking good. i am in love with the way you thought out this fanfic. your writing and the characters’ thoughts are on point. i don’t want to be that annoying fan who begs for an update, but at the same time, here i am begging for an update. anytime you feel like getting back into it, i will be here waiting to read it lol.

Hey guys!!! I just posted PART 26: AELIN in Court of Shadows.
          
          I know this next installment has been a really long time coming. I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for everyone who has stuck with this story. Some of you have been asking what happened to me and why I haven't been updating. The answer is that these past four months, I have been drowning in the hellish cesspit that is trying to get into college for as little money as possible. Nearly every ounce of my free time has gone into my Senior year of high school and writing personal essays that make me sound way cooler and more successful than I actually am. Just a couple more essays and applications, and I should be done. I promise you, I'm not dead, nor have I abandoned this story, nor have I forgotten about all you amazing people. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! for all the eager comments and feedback that motivate me to share my inner SJM fangirl with you.
          
          I know that this chapter is like 1/3 the length of the previous. I was going to include the next portion, but I really wanted to post tonight. I'm planning on posting the rest of this section sometime this week. From here on out, a ton of the story has already been written, because I get ahead of myself and start writing headcannon scenes, rather than updating where we actually are in the story. Now, it's just about sorting through my 8 million google docs and finding where I wrote what. Let me know what you think!

I am in love with Court of Shadows, like totally in love. Your writing is sooooo nice, you know the kind that is neither overelaborated or dull, but just this nice in between that doesn't let you put down your phone. I can't wait to read more of you (and to know what happened to the warrior) (seriously, these cliffhangers ain't kidding around). I want to know if you guys can come up with anything better...
          If Rowan and Aelin were somehow to end up speaking with the Bone Carver, what would their secrets be that they would give him for information? Like Rhysand's knee that twinges and Feyre's death-experience rendition, what are some secrets that neither Aelin nor Rowan have ever told anyone?
          
          Were there some random things that Rowan did in his early years as a training warrior? Did Aelin save a piece of the clock that she smashed on the night of Sam's death? Do either of them recall drinking an entire bottle of whisky before or after doing some dangerous deed? I'm pre-planning for later chapters, so let me know your ideas.
