Born in California USA, Shannon grew up and spent most of his life in Japan. He is a photojournalist with over 32 years of experience, writing for the top magazines and newspapers in Japan, and is currently the Media Team Lead of the Humanode Project.
Although Shannon has over 10 books under his name as the author or co-author, this is his first work in fiction and his first work in English.
